I assume its just taking all the costs, then randomly assigning those costs to the cards in the deck. Shuffling. Sometimes when fully shuffling a thing can end up in the same position it started!
man, property assessment must be way different up north. in florida the taxable value on your home is substantially below list price... i think the last time I did mine the taxable value was barely its build cost

The oilers added two centers in Henrique and Carrick yesterday. Now on their NHL roster they have SEVEN guys with a primary position of Center. In a market that is mostly wingers this year, the oilers getting two of the available centers and creating a ton of depth there is crazy, and offers more forward roster flexibility than almost any other team in the league. As an aside, considering for the two years before McDavid got drafted the oilers operated with approximately one NHL center, this is weird to me.
Vegas keeps adding defensemen, at this rate they're going to be playing 12D and 6 forwards per game (I know they aren't actually getting that far but it feels like it) and I saw a joke on the internet yesterday that if Aiden Hill gets hurt Vegas could go get Jonah Hill off a movie set, put him in, and still win the stanley cup because they have 100 defensemen that are good.
So who wins in the first round. The team that decided they need all the possible forward combinations in the world or the team that decided they needed all the defense pairings possible in the world.
Either way that first round series is going to be must watch TV.
Vegas traded their 1st in 2024 to Calgary, but it is conditional. The condition is that Vegas can trade that pick to another team before the trade deadline. If they do so, Calgary will then receive Vegas' 1st in 2026 insetead while that 2024 pick goes to whoever Vegas traded it to in the new trade.
Genius idea. Vegas can basically trade that pick twice then. If they pull off another trade before friday, they still have this year's 1st as a chip to play to get it done. And if not, they don't have it anymore anyway.
I get like that when I'm recovering from illness, especially if it was a GI bug.

oh, well in that case when I tried it it was very "here's the first hour of the game" and kinda barebones feeling. Not sure if they've added more since, I wasn't really grabbed by the gameplay so I haven't played it again.
