I don't think the casino subplot makes sense at all, but some people need something to tell them the point of the story that bluntly so I get it. Plus it gave us more Rose Tico so I'll allow it.

Tanuki are canines/Family Canidae and share (if memory serves) a relatively common ancestor with foxes; Raccoons are family Procyonidae so are far less related

The third one was alright in parts, I think? Maybe some fighting in the rain?
I liked when all the different ships turned up at the end on the spiky planet
I do like the idea of a star wars plot showing how weapons manufacturers are playing both sides and profiting off of the deaths, but I don't love how it was handled.
Luke squaring up in the sand against Kylo and an entire army of walkers will never not be awesome though. Especially when you realize he's not leaving any footprints.
