It sounds like a pretty hot deal. Wouldn't be too surprised if Nextwave popped in at least once during Ellis' run. The most requested scenes from me will have to be Venom and Green Goblin arguing and fighting with each other over who's Spidey's top villain and then the two teaming up to shut Bullseye up when he says Daredevil's a better enemy.

Newsarama is apparentlly starting a series of articles going briefly over the new T-Bolts team popping up in #110. First up is Bullseye with the title's editor, Molly Lazer (guess that's where Marvel got the name for O*N*E's leader), giving some hints on how he fits in with the new team dynamic, who he answers to and how he can be seen publiclly in a team meant to do heroic deeds.
Latest article on the new Thunderbolts team is up, this time focusing on the Green Goblin. I don't know about you, but it really makes Norman sound like a proper counterpart for Lex.
Taskmaster not being on the final team makes me nervous. If he gets whacked in the next issue of Civil War it'll be a tragedy.
I'd consider it a mercy if they whack him. After I found out that they were going to use him in CW working for people like Stark when he's stolen Stark's toys on more then one occasion drove me nuts. My only comfort was they forgot about all the character development in Agent X and Taskmaster and some of Deadpool's other stuff.
My main problem is that Taskmaster is hardly "evil" in the first place. At least from what I've seen in all of his X and Deadpool run tie ins. He's a professional thief, not a megalomaniacal douchebag with dreams of world domination (or whatever the plot of the week is) like most of the other Thunderbolts. He never belonged lumped in with those guys in the first place, at worst he would've stayed neutral or joined the resistance (if they hadn't retconned his earlier character development).

Taskmaster basically became a villain because he thought it would be where the money was, from what I've been told.
Yeah, he seems to be getting the short end of the stick hard-core. The shit in moon knight just plain pissed me off.

Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.
I wish I still had my Time's Arrow novels. There's this bit where Taskmaster teams up Speed Demon and beats Cyclops and Jean Grey up using a yo-yo. Jean ultimately takes him though, I believe.
The last 'Better Know A Thunderbolt' article is up on Newsarama, focusing on Penance. Give it a look-through to see if Marvel gave any other reasons why he's doing what he's doing.
Thunderbolts 110 is jarring to someone who was enjoying what was happening to the team in the lead up to 109, but I'll give it a few more issues before I make up my mind. The latest few Thunderbolts with the Zemo arc had been beginning to lose the way somewhat, so maybe this moderate reset'll do the book some good.
Also, with everybody getting strapped in to the ship as it blasts out of the mountain, I can't have been the only one waiting for them to say "Thunderbolts are go!"
Edit: Haha, they totally do say that three pages later. Serves me right to post before reading the whole strip.

At least Radiation Man's wearing pants now. =p
I like Mike Deodato and I dont care much for Warren Ellis from what I've read of his Marvel stuff but I'm still willing to give the book a shot.
Glad we'll still get to see more Zemo from Fabian, even if its only a mini.

Good enough answer?
Be gratefully it isn't Greg Land doing the art on Thunderbolts. Other wise it'll be Tommy Lee Jones + pornface.
Situation excellent. I am attacking.
