Originally they were confused. They thought they were voting for one of their kind by endorsing Hillary. Initially they called their banks to cancel checks they wrote to fund her campaign. Given the apparent increased popularity of Obama throughout the ordeal it seems they still believe her.

I think it's some strange and horrible concoction of both the South and the Midwest. A chimera if you will. One, which, once fattened on the delectable souls of John Kennedy and MLK, stooped over the side of Connecticut and what shat out of it was GWB- who, then fixated on such a beacon of like and baneful energies, made his way back there under the innocent guise of "moving" in order to feed and grow strong...
