I was thinking... What time on the 21st will this be released?
Will it be an automagical release when the bell strikes midnight to 21st or is it manually given the go?
My point is, us Swedes will in most cases when something is on a schedule in the US have to stay up to 4 in the morning. Not that it's a problem, I'm as always just curious.

Probably 2am on Wed, like most XBL games...
Legacy on
Can we get the chemicals in. 'Cause anything's better than this.
"The long wait is almost over. Get your Penny Arcade game fix on May 21, when you can download the first installment of the series for Windows, Mac, Linux or Xbox 360. Digital distribution means we can time the release pretty well down to the second. So for those of you that want to be among the very first, the game will be out at 09:00 UTC (1:00 am Pacific Time, 4:00 am Eastern Time). This means two things: First, here at Hothead we’ll be brewing some strong coffee and hanging around late to make sure our servers stay up and running through the launch. And second, if you’re located on the globe just right, say in Hawaii or Samoa, you can technically get the game on May 20. But thinking about the international date line just makes my head hurt, so I’m going to get back to our final preparations for launch."

So even on XBLA, games are downloaded from the developers' servers? I assumed they were downloaded from Microsoft's servers. Or are you talking about downloading it from the Greenhouse?
Wow, down to the hour? That's impressive. Your attention to detail is almost creepy. Just kidding! Love you guys! Thanks for putting so much hard work into such a niche game!

Quite impressive indeed.
I've said it before, but I'll say it again; Thank you Joel and Vlad, for keeping us up to date on things and paying attention to our concerns, and last but not least for making this game happen.
Well, I am packing up to stay the night at work tomorrow night along with quite a few other Hotheads . . . and I am bringing a bottle of single malt scotch, a bottle of Dom, and the biggest bottle of rum I could find. I think we're set.
You'll have to forgive us if our forum posts become a bit hard to read as the night goes on . . . .

And very caffeinated . . .
I hate you. That's 2 days before my wedding. There's no way I'll have time to play it.
Guess I know how I'm spending Memorial Day...
And a most joyous week, at that!
Tattoo yesterday, release date today... Maybe I'll even get sex tomorrow! Who knows!
Cookies for everyone! *spreads cookies everywhere*

As excited as the rest of us, mayhaps?
