The comic is quality. It's a prequel story, set before Storm Front Butcher has said that he plans to use the comics to fill in the gaps, and flesh out the little things that were mentioned in passing in the books
Okay seriously between hearing about this, the Layla one-shot, the return of Spider-Man 's Mary Jane and a Fraction written Beta Ray Bill showing up in Thor this might just be the best comic news week ever.
Ireland is a bit behind in publishing the novels, but I've just finished White Knight, the latest one available here. I'd read the first issue of the comic, but I wasn't 100% sure where it fitted in with the novels.

Incredible Hercules started immediately after the WWH tie-in issues of Incredible Hulk. Those issues kind of lead into Herc, so it's probably a good idea to pick that up as well.

The End League's been pretty fun so far. It's about a post-apocalyptic world where most of the world's population has gained superpowers, with the majority deciding to use them for their own ends. So there's all these quasi-supervillain warlords that have carved out their own private empires, with only a small group of superheroes still surviving to oppose them. It's written by Rick Remender (Fear Agent, All New Atom) so it's shaping up to be pretty good.

A reprint of #1 with some bonus art and some extra bits of backmatter. All the extra info is on the wiki anyway. Not really worth buying if you're already reading Doktor Sleepless, unless you really love the new art. It is pretty.
