    Hey PikaPuff, add this to the OP because it was useful and got BotP'ed:
    In regards to random freezes on the friends page, I very helpfully wrote:
    As best anyone can guess, it's only an issue for people who have downloaded and deleted a ton of crap but don't perform hard drive maintenance. Go to System > Memory > Hard Drive, tap Y for device options, enter the "maintenance code" (X, X, LB, RB, X, X), confirm that you want to perform maintenance, exit to the dashboard once it's done, reboot, and for 90% of people, the "bug" is gone.

    EDIT: Unless you already did. :D

    Silver Groups (i don't know what people like to refer to it to) is making a silver account that everyone joins and using friends of friends to find them. this helps prevent you having to add a billion names to play someone in a game and filling up your 100 limit friend's list.

    I'm too lazy to keep track of one right now

    That hard drive maintenance thing, is it something I should do regularly? I heard people mentioning clearing out the cache to help performance issues, but should I just wait until I have a problem?

    Nah. MLAAK was great because there was so much to do. This game seems like it's "cut down 4 trees and mine 4 rocks to make a house, get more people... make more houses, do stuff here...". Something about MLAAK was addicting.

    i don't understand the question.

    edit avatar, then the selection of the giant camera saying take avatar gamerpic.

    then you can also go to guide, your name, change gamerpic, and you can change the non friend one to your avatar, it's the second selection, first being your current gamerpic

    e-MLAAK is out?

    XBox Live requires 3 ports for full open access. UDP/88 UDP/3074 and TCP/3074.

    Was like all of 5 seconds on google.

    Balls, just posted this in the old thread. I'll put it here, too.
    I tried running Hulu through that PlayOn thing, no joy. You can browse all their content through your 360, but then it wouldn't actually let me play any of it. I'm going to guess this is because I'm in the UK, not because I don't have an account with them.

    You basically need a virtual visa from one of the many online places that do them (I used entropay), a US Address (I used a US family member address), and a proxy to add movies to your account, as if it detects a UK IP you can't add them. Once they're added, though, you can ditch the proxy (until you want to edit lists) and connect on Live easily.

    Dang, that sounds like more effort than I can be bothered with, but if someone discovers an easy way to get Hulu working, I'll take it.

    Also 'meagre' is spelled correctly, and it's not the platform that makes me superior.

    It takes all of ten minutes to get it set up. Literally setting up the virutal visa is basically just making an entropay account and 'spending' say a tenner into it from a proper account, and setting up netflix is the same as signing up normally and can be done from a UK IP so long as you enter a US address.

    The proxy took a bit longer, I guess. All I did though was install Opera and set the proxy as default in Opera (I use Firefox for normal browsing.) When I want to use the netflix site I just use Opera now.

    Everything I stream fails after about 10 minutes. I get (essentially) a rebuffering screen and then it goes fine for the rest of the movie. If I just pause for a while when it starts should that add some more padding or doesn't it work like that?
    I am currently on DSL and it says I have "high" quality.
