Oh, and it should probably be President-Elect and not Present-Elect, unless I'm missing a joke or something
what's funny is that I did not even notice it said Present-Elect until now. My mind just fixed it for me as I was reading.
It's not the instance here, but there is this neat thing your brain will do when you're reading incorrect text. If the two end letters are correct, and the correct letters are present, but mixed up, you won't notice at first. Your brain recognizes the word and reassembles it for you. I'm sure there's an actual term for this, but I don't know what it is.
edit: Yeah here's the sample text

I bought a Zune because I will never own a Mac product ever.
Im considering a zune when I next get an mp3 player. my current nano hasn't broken yet and still plays music just like i want it to so there is no reason to upgrade.
I think with the zune service and the software it behooves Microsoft to make a zune nano, something tiny and weightless that just plays music. because ill never buy an mp3 player i can feel the weight of in my pocket when jogging. thats top of my list.

I like it because I always scroll past what I want on an IPod and it pisses me off. Also because I can send pictures of my ass to my brother while he's listening to music.
As a Zune owner, the quickness actually bothered me.
It's like, when Reverend Wright popped up Obama was willing to let it play out a bit before deciding whether or not to disown the man, but the moment that it is suggested that he uses a non iPode device he's gotta go and issue a statement?
For shame. I'll be bringing my Zune to inauguration, and check the wireless for other zunes present.

they do, in 4 and 8 (and possibly 12 or 16, I forget) gigabyte flavors.
Most of the misconceptions about the zune product seem to come from the fact that folks simply don't know about it. I blame this on the folks working in electronics stores who automatically point at the iPod anytime that a customer is even vaguely interested in mp3s.

My mom owns a Zune. My mom can't even work the TV and she doesn't even have a fancy one, yet she listens to her Zune. There is some science going on there that I can't understand.
MSoft sent me my Zune for free about 15 months ago.
At the time, I was seriously considering buying one anyway (I was at the point of picking out a color)
Due to their awesome firmware policies, other than the fact that 30 gigs is no where near enough for me, they have kept me happy on this device long past the point where I would have upgraded with a competitor. (Currently I'm just waiting for a red 120 to come out.)

I was going to say something than I read that second bit and was like nah

I think I'v only once seen somebody using a Zune
Some times I like to imagine a word where everyone has zune, all squirting songs up each other's zune-holes.
My Zune is a Brown 30 named Zaphod. A buddy of my has a Black 80 named Lincoln (because it is black).

I've never had to buy my mp3 players. I won my IPOD Shuffle in a Halo 2 Tourney, my Zune from well, a Microsoft Contest, and my PSP from a Ghost Recon tourney at PAX. Considering I have played with Ipod's too, besides the whole battery issue, I like the Zune alot better than the Ipod.
i have a first gen 2gig ipod nano, and i love it so much
Same here except I'm not fond of the fact that the battery will only hold a charge for about 45 minutes anymore.
Also um techincally the iPod is not a "Mac" product. If you mean "Apple" then ok, but then you turn around and buy a Microsoft product? Really? You prefer Microsoft as a corporate entity over Apple? Really?

"You own a Zune?"
"Nah, just kidding, I'll get my iPod"
You'll never be president with that kind of attitude mister

the good kind
personally I think it's more likely that Obama was actually just asking what the guy was saying, and he interpreted it as continuing the quote
if it ever happened at all, that is

your wait is over
I'm happy with it
certainly ain't gonna toss it out and get a Zune
the product is fine, but the company sucks
frankenberry and booberry
this is my exact mantra when it comes to Sony, oddly enough
would have required my brown 30 to have been called Count Chocula
which would have been awesome
but too little, too late

granted, the last iPod I owned was black and white, but my experience with Zunes and iPods would put Zune as the winner in the battery catagory.
