I have heard people criticize Notre Dame for keeping Weis on while he had an equal, if not worse, track record compared to Willingham, citing race as a factor.
Columnist Jason Whitlock makes this argument about once a month.
I think it was a mistake to fire Willingham after such a short time, and I think Notre Dame figured that out as well. They realized that they needed to give their coach more time to build up the program. That's why Weis wasn't fired after the same time period as Willingham.
However, some people have their own agendas and would rather assume it's strictly a racial decision, rather than Notre Dame learning from a previous mistake.
Yeah, it's not like there's nothing in the school's past that would make people assume that race was a factor now, right?
If you're fortunate enough to spend 5 minutes or 20 minutes around Tim Tebow, your life is better for it.
wtf?
Did you not watch an SEC game (especially on CBS) this year? Gary Danielson loves Tebow so much he quit voting for some award or another because Tebow didn't win.

3rd & goal from Florida 1

Okla rush stuffed for no gain.
4th & goal from Florida 1
- Announcer: Go! Go! Go!
Okla rush for 1 yard loss
- Announcer: (silence as FOX cuts to commercial)

I was disappointed to see that this game is on Fox
Halfway through, this has probably been the worst of the BCS bowls this year. Both teams look terrible.
What? You must be blind.
Anywho, the announcer needs to shut the fuck up about Tebow. They act as if it's Jesus Christ himself reincarnated.
Which BCS bowl had a worst 1st half?
Rose Bowl was a blowout, but at least 1 of the teams was impressive. This game is a comedy of errors.
I didn't realize that games were succinctly defined by a scoreboard. I also didn't realize that because of the low score that it automatically is a bad game. There's been a lot of good hits, good defense (who know our OU had a defense?) and quite a few huge plays.
You need to learn how to enjoy low scoring games.

I like well-played low-scoring games. If you follow the NFL, the Steelers-Ravens game a few weeks ago was an excellent example of one of those.
Low-scoring games that come about due to idiotic goal-line playcalling, multitudes of penalties, and Heisman QBs making terrible, terrible decisions in what's supposed to be college football's greatest showcase I can do without.

The Timeout/penalty/TO sequence to get to a punt there is helping your case a bit.

Iglesias gotta clean up those hands before he goes to Sundays, though. Peyton would tear him a new one for letting that ball go right through his hands and into the DB's.
Every time Bradford looks over to the sideline before the snap, he looks totally confused.
Spikes in the neutral zone at the snap and pass interference on Okla's 4th down. Refs have completely disappeared from this game, on both sides. These refs are Pac 10 bad.

Clearly we all hate all referees, though why aren't you sticking up for our conference, Veritas? Big Ten refs are the worst. (Well, maybe Pac 10. And obviously Sun Belt)

No, that game last year of Pittsburgh vs. West Virginia will forever be remembered as the worst officiating in the history of anything ever.
He cured Thom Brennaman of his erectile dysfunction.
IT'S A MIRACLE!
We really need a plausible fake Brennaman quote to quiz people with. My initial thought was "His dick is HUGE" but I'm not sure that's ridiculous enough to make clear which one is wrong.

Different sport, but reminiscent of Billy Packer fellating Chris Duhon of Duke for making a layup: "What a player! What a MAN!"

I once touched the hem of Tebow's jersey, and my leprosy was cured.

edit: Err, wait. I forgot about the Orange. I didn't watch that one, so it could have been worse.
Also:
Coach Urban Meyer, what did you think about the first half?
- I liked our defensive stands. Other than that, I didn't like shit.

Ball on Okla 2.
Tebow rushes for no gain.
Tebow throws incomplete.
Tebow goes to the bench.
Harvin takes the snap, rushes for TD.
Announcers: Tebow is so great!
o_O
They'd be winning if they could learn to just take 3 points on 4th down at and the end of the half.
Iglesias gotta clean up those hands before he goes to Sundays, though. Peyton would tear him a new one for letting that ball go right through his hands and into the DB's.
I'm going to puke if they don't fucking shut up about how he pisses diamonds and shits wisdom.

xoxoxoxoxo,
FOX
Fixed. Also, disjointed game didn't help.
Let 'em eat fucking pineapples!
I've never heard anything as ridiculous as tonight. Not even from local TV announcers, who are usually paid employees of the teams they announce for.
"Superman."
"The first thing he's ever done wrong in his life."
"Spending 5 minutes around Tim Tebow will improve your life."
"Greatest player in the history of college football."
Political ads don't fellate their subjects as much as FOX has Tebow tonight.
I dunno, Madden with Favre gets pretty absurd. After his 4th INT "It's so great! He's just having fun out there! It's like he's a little kid!"
Of course, I hate Favre with a passion. So I might be biased. But that it even got close to Madden with Favre and may have even surpassed it...
I can't believe I'm actually glad ESPN is getting the rights to a sporting event.

You forgot "So and so said that Tebow would be the 4th best quarterback in the Big 12"
"Thats the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard"
Really? The most ridiculous?
