Does the wheel have the potential to hit any selected method of sacrifice? It seems like I've never gotten the sex change one, and that the decapitation/burning/electrocution/impalement are the most common.
I did get to turn someone into a chicken once, which makes me wonder if anyone got the sex change one or the more obscure ones?
If you completed the Temple of light Quest chain, you did.
What happens if you do neither quests? Is there a default champion? I've always done one or the other.

I did none, and the dark side won. I wondered why Oakfield got so damn grey looking for ages, and then one day wandered up to donate some money to the Temple of Light and it was destroyed. I figured something happened while I was gone.
It wasn't until I saw my roomate play the game that I even noticed he had 2 quest choices on his list.

I was sick from work today, so I set down and took my secondary character through the Knothole Island stuff.
Warning, fairly long;
She's a skinny spellcaster of dubious morals. Grey on good-evil, but almost completely corrupt. I've been running Bowerstone's economy into the ground with rents, but I've got 2.5 mil and I just got back from the Spire.
I logged on and went shopping for weapons, but Bowerstone had jack all. Probably because of their one star economy. So I took a few minutes and lowered all my rents, most of them to -100%, thinking I'd just leave it there for a few minutes to kickstart things.
I warp to the lake and buy a 2 slot longsword, and drop a couple of augments I was never going to use (experience and such) into it, thinking "hey, might as well have a shiny sword even if I never use it.
So, I head to Bowerstone Docks and hop the boat to Knothole. I get there, do the missions, all that jazz. At the end, with the chamber, I pretty much just decide the chieftan can't be trusted to wipe his own ass much less control the weather, so I get 100 Good Points.
I do my usual post-quest stuff; spending xp, reequipping, etc. I wound up using melee most of the time because apparently I liked the X button today. I've got enough Str XP to get Physique 4. I head into the shop, they've got a 4 slot Axe. I go to the mystery trader lady, and I pull this crazy amazon top, which apparently goes with some other stuff in my inventory.
It's about this time that the halo shows up.
Checking my Personality, I'm now 100% pure and 75% Good.
I started the afternoon a shifty wizard who was more than happy to bankrupt you with rent so she could afford fancy shoes. I ended the day Saint Dumpling, Warrior Queen of the Glorious Socialist Utopia of Bowerstone and you willBOWDOWN.
Watching my spouse play Fable is almost as much fun as playing it myself. He just started hunting gargoyles, but he's still getting used to the interface. So he tried to kill one in Old Town, accidentally shot off his crossbow when he got it out, hit a door, and got arrested for vandalism.
'Course, he got a kick out of the time my character was sexing up her wife and some random townsperson had wandered into the house. As my wife was praising my skills afterwards, the townsperson says, "Well, haven't seen a show like that in a long time!"
The townsperson AI might be fairly simple, but they do react to some surprising things sometimes.

Does this game still have quests that end up crashing the game or deleting your save or whatever nasty things were going on? Or was that all patched out?
I thought the choices in Fable 2 were pretty cut and dry overall...well especially if you were aware of later game mechanisms
e.g. doing that nasty deed of aging the girl or yourself for Reaver, if you are aware of Brightwood Tower or Fairfax it isn't that big a deal.
What about Brightwood tower and Fairfax makes it not a big deal? I've only known of the dream bed and the Agoni's Knot in Brightwood, and the sex change potion in Fairfax, nothing about changing your age.

My eyes stopped being red
My eyes aren't red either, but when you get up close to the character (e.g. where you can start to see through parts of the model- you can two glowing red orbs)
I used the named blunderbuss most of the time. It's not the best gun in the game, but the noise it makes more than makes up for it. It sounds like it should be the best gun in the game, and you can take down most things with one shot, no need to aim for the head, and if you don't kill something, it will probably fall over anyway. I mix it up with a rifle and the Daichi every now and then, but the blunderbuss takes care of most of my needs.
So, what weapons are everyone using? Named, or ones you've built yourself? What augments?
I use the Red Dragon or sometimes the Enforcer for ranged, and mostly the Daichi for melee. Although I switched to the axe you get from the Crucible because the Daichi looks silly with the Knothole Island armor set.
I have to say this game is one of the biggest disappointments in recent memory. No, I don't want to do minigames to get money. No I don't want to turn my game off and wait X days to get money. The combat is pathetically easy, the multiplayer is a lie, the targetting is terrible, and the NPCs use some kind of voodoo to determine if I'm doing something bad (I save a guy on the road by shooting a bandit attacking him and he gets mad at me for firing my gun in his presence? huh? not like it matters I can murder a thousand people and easily get my karma back with gold), and getting physique makes a grotesque looking ... thing for a character.
Giant disappointment, at least with Fable 1 the reviews were honest, I didn't have people telling me it was the game of the year so I wasn't nearly as disappointed.

I'm sorry I don't mind being able to play real estate and earn money while you're at work or blacksmithing for coins being an option, but if I'm an adventurer I expect to be able to adventure, not play minigames. It's the same bullshit that tarnished the otherwise briliant GTA4, "Hey cousin lets go bowling, that sounds alot more fun than slamming a helicopter into traffic and skidding across the wreckage of a dozen cars before leaping out and getting into a chase with the cops right?"
Also my character got morbidly obese in about 5 minutes of eating, so I can farm celery or deal with it. Woot, it's not like they intended anyone to care about their character's aesthetic in this game anyway, with all the clothing options, dye, and hairstyles.

I dunno, I feel like the game was extremely overrated as well. After playing for five minutes, even, I ran into things that made me not want to continue to play the game.
Who the hell designs a RPG that doesn't fucking show you how much better a weapon that you want to buy is than the one you're carrying at the moment without you having to go out of the shop and into your laggy, poorly designed menu to find out what your current one is at? What the hell.
Maybe I'll play it a bit more and see if it catches me, but it hasn't so far.

I don't think anyone was paid. Honestly, I think you are just pissed because the game wasn't custom tailored for you. Sounds like your biggest complaint is money though. The game gives you several opportunities to make extremely easy money without cheating. You can play 5 minutes of a job, buy some property, set it to the appropriate value percentage, and that should provide you with what you need to make it through the game. You won't have the best equipment, but that will solve the difficulty problem for you as well.

I had bought the Knothole Island content on my 360 the night before and planned to go over to my girlfriends house, she has a copy of fable 2 as well but only an arcade console with a memory card, so she can't get the island.
Anyways I take my hard drive over because I want to show her the island, so I sign into my account, go into fable and load my saved game. After an hour I quit out, log out of my account and log into her account so she can play and do her quests, she plays for awhile and saves and quits, I take out my hard drive before I go home and she boots up her game again when she notices her save is missing and it's giving her a message:
"This saved game has downloadable content attached to it, you need to download knothole island."
She now can't access her saved game at all.
When playing in her account using her memory card, she never went near Knothole, nor did she do anything to access Knothole. It's almost like the game recognized the island off the hard drive and just went "Oh she's got the island cooool i'm going to remember that from now on."
Once you play a game with Knothole available, it more than likely flags the save file to prevent corruption. When you first load up a save after grabbing it, the game immediately tells you about it.
Also, think about it - you don't have to go to the island to have someone in orb mode give you an item from there.
It's pretty standard on DLC open-ended RPGs on the 360 - Oblivion will prevent you from playing a save with DLC you don't have anymore.
