    I've been going to the best used bookstore in the world on and off

    Me and my pal basically go there once a week to find old editions of Analogue and Isaac Asimov's Science Fiction Magazine

    It's one of those stores that has fucking everything a big pretentious faggot could want in it's original format

    Listen, you cats seem to be a pretty widely-read bunch. I would like to read a book about the rise of civilization in the Fertile Crescent. The Sumerians and the Babylonians and all that jazz. Don't know enough about them. Like to improve myself. Anyone got a suggestion for me?

    So I just finished reading "The Stars my Destination," and it was really good.

    It is by Alfred Bester. Check out that shit if you like sci-fi written in the 50s.

    So I picked up Beasts of No Nation by Uzodinma Iweala and Roberto Bolano's The Savage Detectives

    Also Chester Brown's I Never Liked You but I'm not sure if that counts

    I was trying to find copies of Stanislaw Lem's Cyberiad after someone stole my copy at a party, but, no luck
