    I like Cantonese and I dislike Mandarin (the two kinds of Chinese). I'm not sure why I've chosen, but when I hear Cantonese spoken, it's like a beautiful song that leaps around like a cat in snow. Mandarin sounds like an angry lung with tuberculosis, just trying to get the words out.

    I had to take a German course because my degree requires a language, and oh my god

    Like I had no trouble pronouncing any of the words, but the grammar! Ah yes, all the verbs are at the end. Wonderful. And furniture has a gender? Fantastic.
