Drell Vanguard is a goddamn wrecking machine. Tear down shields and then it is pull/charge time, or pull/grenade, or grenade/charge. Biotic explosions like WHOA.
I've since moved on to Krogan Vanguard though. That's way too much fun.
My favourite is still Geth Infiltrator though. I just wish I could get some levels into my Black Widow.
The thing about playing aggressively as a squishy class is you really need to have a good feel for the rhythm of your powers and shots to keep stuff locked down. If you don't have any way to stagger stuff as you move around you'll get ripped to pieces.
Sometimes I can nail it and wade into a pack of hunters and pyros on gold and come out ahead.

Jack's a psychopath in 2, and still has issues in 3, but she's a good character. Better, she's got a solid character arc.

You create an opening with grenades or lift, and then charge in for a biotic explosion, maybe melee a bit, gun some guys down, then run like hell.
They are very much the cut and run biotic.
Warp, overload, and a passive that buffs the whole party's health? Yes please.
