    * Rogue poisons no longer have charges.
    * "Sap" now automatically gains the full benefit of "Improved Sap".

Bullshit. These notes can't be real, too good to be true.

    Well, I came.
Also, stun removing trinket will make it impossible to kill orc rogues now XD I've already had one resist 3 stuns in a row... Still happy about it.
    Wish they'd improve T4.

Ahhh. I'm not much of a PvPer so I've never played a heavy sub build. Thanks for the info.

For me personally I'm thrilled....let's me go 41/20 without giving up Imp Sap. Perfect.

I hope it's enough to be noticeable. Always annoying when you are like one step out of range, and the guy keeps running, hehe. Distract lets them know you are close.

The energy decrease is great too, IMO. Less waiting before opening up. Blind range increase seems to be mostly a PvE help. You know fighting a pull, and the caster stays back a bit spamming frostbolts. Bah.

from a warrior's perspective it sucks. Got sapped by a subtlety rogue yesterday, no less, and was able to detect him though he had improved sap.

Immediately berserker raged and kicked his ass

now I'll be berserker raging and do nothing

so I guess I'll just save the knee jerk reaction, a shout won't guarantee to bring him out either

    hm

It sucked having to basically be inside the mobs rectum to actually be in range to sap.

So I would think 4 yards will be enough to make me happy :D

I sure hope so, dirty tricks sucks.
But ohhh my god, imp. sap is finally stock. I thought I'd never see the day.

Dirty Tricks is LEET. the biggest problem with sap is that its basically begging for an AE even if you stay stealthed, and your opener on the next target is nerfed hard.... you lose the first few seconds of your sap regening what you spent to throw it up before you open on target 2. Dirty Deeds looks solid to me.

All trues do pretty well in damage now if you spec far enough into him. I'm sick of assholes perpetuating the "sub tree sux 4 dmg" rumor. it doesn't do as much, but shit, it puts out a GOOD fucking amount.

well shit you can spec 0/0/0 (aka teabag spec, in certain circles) and still click ACCEPT INVITE. grats on pve'ing.

yes im an asshole, no the 4 damage is not just a rumor ;p at least, according to the testing i did with my gear at the time, swapping to combat was something like 35% more dps.

it stands to reason that regardless of what you spec you will do damage

that doesn't mean you will do nearly as much

my <3 is in subt, but much to my suprise i was and still am enjoying combat. the doodads most raiding rogues look at as filler are actually pretty killer pvp utility, plus who needs Elu & Prep when the Arenas are basically FreeCoolDownLand ;p

i do miss Camo. i miss Envel. i miss SStep ;p but i know id miss the fear/stun resist and Imp Kick if i left combat too.

ima try subt again once i have a bit more gears and see how it compares.

35% is a pretty freaking huge difference, and I'd say if you're raiding, and your guild likes any sort of modicum of efficiency, combat/assassination would be greatly preferred.

But no, you aren't useless or close to it if you go subtlety.

To make a non-flame post, subtlety is capable of topping dmg meters, but you have to be way more skilled to pull it off. Whereas anybody can hop on a combat rogue and do good dmg. Just gotta constantly have rupture running, and its much more gear dependent. You also would want your +hit as high as can manage, because with your AP being generally much higher than combat rogues, your white dmg should be in their same range(dw spec). Premed also makes you a valid emergency tank if need be, for evasion purposes.

with 1600 crit hemo's standard it's probobly pretty easy to top the charts.

spamming a different cycle would indeed take skill, but considering that im comparing my own dps with two different specs, how can i possibly hope to OUTSKILL MYSELF?!

And, "with skill you can top dps meters" is always such an unhelpful explanation. If you're comparing specs, you're assuming equal levels of skill and gear. You keep all else equal when comparing anything.
