This is the theme song for the original Street Fighter IV, which they never should have changed, and which is probably the best song you'll ever hear, and which (now that I've listened to it) I must listen to on loop for at least an hour.
Also, I could beat anyone in this thread at this game, and I'm proud of that
God help me
y'all is bitches
edit: I should also mention again that I have a recurring fantasy of beating a high-profile player at a streamed tournament and having them play this song while I do a choreographed dance routine with a bunch of guys who jump out of the audience.
Street Fighter IV is the only fighting game I ever got good at. Not like... really good. Certainly not competitive. But it's the game where I learned the core concepts of knowing and understanding range of threat from each character's moves and planning my moves to avoid damage and exploit opponent's weaknesses. I learned how to use combos, and I learned when to use them.
However, playing with a 360 controller and dealing with bandwidth issues became incredibly disheartening.
So I met my cousin tonight, which was nice. Kinda strange when you meet slightly removed family overseas, especially when they look incredibly similar. Not quite sure why, but
you know the thing that gets me about the women in the military thread is that everyone in there makes it sound likes it's incredibly difficult to not have sex
like, bordering on impossible
this of course means that i am an utter badass and god among men for being as amazing as i am at not having sex
seriously, i make this shit look easy

In the book The Forever War, sex between enlisted men and women is mandatory. They swap bunkmates every other night so everyone gets a turn with everyone.

I was dah best at super street fighter 2 for SNES.
Then I played someone who was actually good.
Now I don't like fighting games.
this is not an uncommon experience
i feel like decent online play technology has been really good for avoiding this experience because (especially if you start playing at release with a new game) you will encounter a lot more new players, as well as the occasional skilled player, so you can see what it's like to be really good but also have fun against equivalent players

If my gold account expires (which is happening next month), can I still play multiplayer on the PC version?

I wish the new MK caught on more
by which I guess I mean I wish it was better.
luckily there is a rabid MK community that won't die (small though it may be... at least I think it is)
at the end of a long tunnel of Supers and Arcade Editions and Turbos and balance patches and series crossovers and bitter, resentful fanbase money

That Star Trek IV theme owes a lot to the music from Ralph Bakshi's Lord of the Rings.
