    Lol... well then.

Looks like at most it'll be just me, you and tr0tsky (plus your +1s if applicable). I'm still up for going if tr0tsky is.

He'll have to drive.... and I'll have to buy him a round of golf in exchange for the ride again. lol.

But yeah, if you two want to delay to another weekend to get more people to come then we can do that too.

If people would actually come out next weekend, that would probably be more fun...but whether or not that would happen, who knows? :P

Internet working now. Just wanted to let you guys know it's really nasty out here. Thunder lightning and tons of rain. Don't know what it's like over your way but it's definitely not the best night to be driving.

So rescheduling is definatley the plan of action.

My next two Saturdays are booked solid, Sundays are open.... and I don't currently have any firm plans in November. So if anyone wants to start proposing date/time options for an Abbotsford resched I'm fairly open.

Keeping in mind that Dragon Age comes out on the 3rd so I might be a little hard to pry away that week.

Eric and I are looking at planning a house party for mid-December (after my exams) It would involve multiple tvs and consoles, liquor, drinking games, and hopefully a place to sleep for anyone who wants to crash. It would be in Tsawwassen. Is there any interest for this? Anyone we've met at a pre-pax event would be invited, as long as we can trust you.

(And I also am aware that it is a very bad idea to post about parties on the internet, which is why his address will be given out by pm and pm only.)

    Very interested, Sumi!

I can supply another Xbox, 21" LCD, and a metal DDR pad if need be. :D

On a side note: are there any new details regarding Fright Nights? Meet-up time/place?
We need to get more people interested in this.

I can supply a 360, a full Rock band kit, and a projector. Projector goes up to lolhueg size, but has no screen.

Meet-up time is already in the OP - as for location, I'd say the main PLayLand gate? I can't remember what the gate # is, but it's the one closest to the bigass wooden roller coaster.

Well it sounds like there is a plethora of 360's already coming, so I won't offer mine, but I can bring extra wireless controllers, rechargable battery packs or games as needed.

    I.E. I'll be there.

I imagine anything I have probably won't be necessary to bring to the partary, unless you have needs for another PS3 or controllers for anything.

    Vancouver DS meet up!

    Who: you
What: Play DS with a bunch of other local PA fans
Where: Royal Oak IHOP 5137 Kingsway, Burnaby BC (three blocks south of Royal Oak Skytrain)
    When: Oct 24th, 6pm
Why: Mostly because it’s a relatively central location with wheelchair access, bottomless pop and surly wait staff.

Also, hyper stoked about Sumi and Eric (E-Rock)'s do, I'm down with a +1 possibly +2. I'll contact you closer to the date to see what I can bring. I'm guessing that everyone else will have a plethora of electronic games, and I wanted you to know that my collection of "unplugged games" (read: tabletop games) are at your disposal.

I love it when messages erase themselves. Here we go again.

HD brings up a going point, let me know if you would like to bring someone. Eric has had some noise complaints in the past.

We are trying to figure out an exact date. We just need to figure out how we are getting his mom out of the house. Although he is allowed to have parties, having a parent there is a buzzkill... especially when they try to join in.

So I'll let you guys know when we have that figured out, and you can PM me about potential guests after that.

Parents at parties are usually quite easy to deal with. Give them some booze and distract them with something shiny (or is that magpies?). If you get them GoldSlager, that's two birds with one stone.

Just make Ryan deal with them. He's too nice to blow them off. Or Theros, if he's there. He'll take them to Subway and buy them food.

Yeah my costume is looking so awesome, I am going to wear it everyday I possibly can.

So I guess that means a yes, I plan on coming, I'll have to ask eric for a ride since I don't drive in vancouver (since I got in a car accident there once... well actually.. I caused a car accident.) I'm not sure if he will come in because he's not fond of it, but he might, since that would be really lame if he didn't.

A way cooler costume would be if you were being a Roadie and you fixed his broken guitar over the course of the evening.

Acc3ss I have your number, and I also have Absinthe's so I guess just keep your phones on and charged and we should be alright. And as usual, I will probably be running late because of Eric so I probably won't be at the front gate on time, I'll just have to call you guys.

Apparently I had less random stuff in my closet than I thought I did (i.e. zero). O well, I have a Photoshop Hero hoody, so I'm coming as a...photoshop hero. That would actually be a pretty cool costume if I had something that looked like a tablet.

So is pretty much everyone driving there tonight?

If so any chance I can store my umbrella/rain jacket in someones car once we get there. I'd like to keep them around just in case it finally decides to rain when I'm heading home.... and carrying them around the PNE won't be much fun. :?

I've also got a last minute "costume" so you won't be the only one.

On the plus side our selections will both be PAX appropriate.... sadly few outside of our group will know what they are. lol.
