So, found out what the T1 perk "One Man Army" does. It lets you switch classes while you're alive.

So guys, I know this isn't the CoD4 thread but I may as well just ask it here. I just bought CoD4 for PC and every time I boot up MP it says "failed to initialize punkbuster." Naturally, I open up PB setup to update and everything, and it says it's completely up to date, but I still can't play multiplayer. How can I fix this?

    Hmm.

If your other classes have OMA, presumably. Could be useful for sneak attacks with an LMG.

I was thinking more like sniper class, then once they come for you, switch to a silenced SMG or akimbo whatevers.

I'm imagining all my custom classes with OMA and a different type of shotgun. It's so crazy it might just work! :P

That's interesting, Burtle. I get such inconsistent shotgunning using either the W1200 or the M1014 that I just dropped using them. They're fun and hilarious when they work, and rage-inducing when they don't. I can literally shoot someone point blank with either once, and they will not die, and then from across the hall and they will. All i'm asking is for a consistent, reliable pattern of shot so my reaction time is factored in more importantly than whether or not my pellets did tit damage.

Edit: Please tell me this isn't so. There's no M1911? This is blasphemous; .44 Magnum is fine, I'll probably use an Akimbo "Dirty Harry Squared" class, but come on.
Did you shoulder your shotguns when you aimed?

No. I understand that sighting in widens the spread - I was hip firing, sometimes WITH Steady Aim and even Stopping Power, just to see if it would remedy the inconsistency, and it did not.

Well then I don't know how to help you. Might be some latency issues or something. I've always had good luck with my shotties when my ping wasn't atrocious.

It's cool; my ping is always 4 bars, and I actually end up as the host 95% of the time. FIOS FTW. In between these posts, I played a game with the W1200 Naked w/ B. Squad, Sleight, and XtrConditioning; 23-5, on Bog.

Another query - have they changed the helicopter priority for targetting? It's really fucking annoying when I have a 15+ Kill Streak and the idiots on my team feed the other team to get a chopper, and it just immediately tears my anus inside out, often through a window.

And have they given the weapons selective fire? I really don't understand the difference between the FAMAS and the M16A4 if they're both 3-round burst (other than the bullpup mechanism). <3 the improvements to iron sights; I'll definitely be using a silencer and a VG if I go Bling.

Raaaaaage. I used the Deagle forever, then tried the M1911 - no recoil, similar power, great irons. Oh well; G18 makes up for it. I really hope it has the same 1200 RPM firing capability it does in real life.

Added that MP video to the OP, damn it looks good.

Some things of interest in that video:
    - Looks like Predators do show up on the map, with a dot indicating the missle and a circle around it showing the radius of the attack.

    - 'Pushing Dasies' for wussiest tag yet.

    - Game Winning Kill, niiiice.

I'm curious about that shotgun attachment for the assault rifles; single shot, or limited to like 3 rounds? How fast is the reload? Surely it would be comical to have a sniper scope on it, then when things get close, bust out that shottie.

No... NOOOOOO. That deathstreak removed was one of my favorite things about MW2. Now that

I'll update that list as I get more info.

Also, I was hoping the FN2000 unlocked sooner.

Does anybody seem to think the Scrambler perk may be a bit meh? Like, if you're moving up on a group, and then suddenly you disappear, those with presence of mind to notice that will surely know you're there and be more wary. Of course, you'd just be standing behind the door and stab him in the back of the neck, but whatever.

Not my style, really. SoH and Lightweight will probably be mainstays for me. Rotate out T3 as I see fit.

I've never been big for stealth classes either TBH, M60 with Stopping Power/Deep Impact is a mainstay.

And that's gone too. The M240 is a similar chambering, but all except the RPD and that are chambered in pussy-ass 5.56. I mean, really? Come on.

And when it says "Full resupply from enemies" does this mean that even if they are not carrying the same rounds as the weapon you're using, it will still fill your reserves up? Or is it only for say, if the enemy had one round left in his M4, and you have an M16 with 5 rounds, and it fills to 180+30? Either way it seems more like a HC w/ stealth perks class, one you camp and move up to take ammo with, then return to camp.
