Oh I do so love deals! You are a god of honour as well, I see, brother Khorne. Perhaps we will treat, in time...but not in this moment.

There's too much confusion in Tilea and Bretonnia, and I don't see any relief. No reason to get excited... Let's see about finding greener pastures.

Khorne, you silly thing. You have nothing to fear from me. It is Tzeentch I would be worried about; to me it appears as if he is in control. See how he warps the land at will with his acolytes; if I were you, I would not allow the one in Norsca to survive the day.

MOVE a Cultist from Tilea to Border Princes.

    Round Three Summoning phase:

The Peasant Uprising continues; each peasant token increases the resistance of its region by one.

    CitOW_g2r35.gif

Khorne prepares a Field of Carnage in Bretonnia (other figures may not be summoned away)
Nurgle sends a leper wandering from the Empire to Bretonnia
Tzeentch calls for the Persistence of Change in Bretonnia ((M), stays in play if Tzeentch kills a figure)
Slaanesh ignores the others and rewards the Degenerate Royalty of the Empire (no effect)

Khorne sends a cultist into Norsca
Nurgle reinforces his position in Bretonnia with another cultist
Tzeentch redeploys a cultist from Norsca to Tilea, bringing a Warpstone with him
Slaanesh sends another cultist into the Empire

Khorne decides plans are better served by moving his warrior from the Empire to Bretonnia
Nurgle oozes a cultist into Tilea
Tzeentch continues to redraw the map, sending a cultist with a Warpstone from the Border Princes to Tilea
Slaanesh decides the time is ripe to whisper in a peasant's ear; a Dark Influence sends the peasant scurrying to Bretonnia (instant effect)

Khorne (2/7) screams out a Battle Cry, echoing over Tilea (no corruption placed this round)
Nurgle (2/6) brings another cultist into Bretonnia
Tzeentch (2/6) slips a cultist from The Border Princes to Estalia, lugging a Warpstone

Khorne earns two DIAL tick tokens from killing enemy figures.
Persistence of Change will remain in Bretonnia for next round

    Corruption step

    1. Norsca - No domination (1 = 1)
    Khorne places 1 corruption

    2. Troll Country - Peasants celebrate a quiet day

    3. Kislev - No domination (1 = 1 < 3)
    No corruption

    4. The Empire - Slaanesh dominates for 5 VP (6 > 5)
Slaanesh places 2 corruption - DIAL

    5. Bretonnia - No domination (2 = 2 < 3 < 5)
Nurgle places 2 corruption - DIAL
    Tzeentch places 1 corruption

    6. Estalia - No domination (1 < 2 < 3 < 6)
    Khorne places 1 corruption
Tzeentch places 3 corruption - DIAL
Nurgle places 2 corruption - DIAL

Map at the start of the End Phase:

    CitOW_g2r39.gif

    1. Hero Tokens are resolved - Slaanesh chooses one figure to sacrifice in the Empire
Note: I will assume he is sacrificing a seductress unless he tells me otherwise.

    2. Resolve Old World cards - No end phase effects

    3. Score Ruined Regions - No regions were Ruined

    4. Advance Threat Dials - There was a tie for most tokens; each old god gains one DIAL tick
    Khorne: 14 - Draw 2 Cards
    Nurgle: 13 - Upgrade
    Tzeentch: 15 - Score 3 VP
    Slaanesh: 16 - Place 2 Nobles

    5. Check for Game end
    Dial - nope
    VP - nope
    Ruined - nope
    Old World - nope
    The game did not end.

Tzeentch may discard a card; I will put the upcoming Old World card into your player sheet so you may make an informed decision

Nurgle needs to choose an Upgrade

Slaanesh needs to choose location(s) for two new noble tokens; you should also confirm the Hero's target in the Empire

Once all of this is done, I'll clear the board for the next round (Persistance of Magic stays in play) and update your player sheets with new draws.

Note: I just realized I accidentally increased Slaanesh's Threat instead of its VP on my end phase board. That error has been fixed for the next board: Slaanesh has 17 VP, not 9, and it's threat was 11 (but is now 16 after ticking).

End of round 3, still awaiting an upgrade and placement of 2 Noble tokens

    An interesting turn of events.

Yes, one Seductress in the Empire will offer up her life to the Hero to slake his bloodlust.

There are two slots on the board for Old World cards with lingering effects. The first of those has been filled with Peasant Uprising for a while, now, but it is about to be slid into the second slot to make room for our new card. Which... also deals with peasants. Board update in a few.

Ahh, so it's not that cards last two turns by nature; they usually last two turns because they're rotated out for new ones, unless the new ones are instant-and-discard style.

A horn is heard blowing in the North, and the drums of war. Reavers. The news spreads like wildfire throughout the Old World, and peasants in every realm abandon their homes seeking safety.

    Norse Reavers
Remove all Event tokens from the board and remove any Old World cards bearing the Twin-tailed Comet icon from the Old World track. Then, place one Event token in each of Bretonnia, Tilea, and the Empire. Finally, place one Peasant token in each region.
In the end phase, when Old World cards are resolved, remove one Peasant token (if able) from every region where there is an Event token.

The Peasant Uprising continues; each peasant token increases the resistance of its region by one.

    CitOW_g2r41.gif

The round four summoning phase begins, as always, with Khorne.

Note: All 20 peasant tokens have now been used; no more peasants can be placed this game.
