This is not a place to link your home address, but rather your post office (nice idea, SoaL) so you can at least tell where about your gift has come from and where yours will be going to.
All you have to do to join in is perform the following;
- Click here
- Select 'Edit'
- Click the 'Add a Placemark' button (located on the top left corner of the map)

Really, it's the best if you're looking to not pay $60 for shipping. The proper customs forms are on the website, the post office has the proper plastic window guys to put the forms on the boxes. Yes you can, and it's a good idea to shop at the Santee's home country's Amazon site (www.amazon.ca for instance) if you want to save a bit on shipping. Be sure and provide a note upon checkout saying who you are, though!
BE SURE AND SHIP WELL IN ADVANCE
Get your act together NOW and try and ship your stuff by Dec 10th or so to make sure it arrives before the crazy Christmas rush that always happens at the latter half of December.

www.thinkgeek.com - general geeky stuff. Shipping can be high so be sure and shop around. Google for discount coupons.
www.play-asia.com - junk from Japan. Nearly everyone likes the little toys they have. Google for discount coupons.
www.buy.com - one of the best places to get used games, books and DVDs.
www.square-enix-shop.com - for that Final Fantasy or RPG fan.
www.bigbadtoystore.com - the absolute best place to get action figures.
Things to Note:
360 points are not cross-country compatible.
Most consoles are region restricted. The Nintendo DS is a notable exception to this, though.
Stalking / General Shopping Help:
If your Santee has a unique name or forum handle, be sure and Google it. You never know where else s/he might post.
Keep an eye on the systems he owns if you're thinking of buying a game.
If your Santee has a PS3, don't forget it can play Blu-Ray movies.
If your Santee has a XBox Gamer ID, it's not hard to figure out what games he has / likes.
Be creative! We have lives other than video games! Is your Santee taking up an instrument? Does he want to start painting? Does he like tabletop games? Does he seem to like cars? This is your chance to get an interesting gift they hadn't thought of, yet!
Does your Santee have a favorite game, ever? Consider something related to that! Toys, old complete copies, art books, etc. are always fun.
Do you have something in your city / state / country that your Santee doesn't have access to?
Interesting candies, foods, posters / prints, and other various knick-knacks make for good box-stuffers.
If your Santee posted an Amazon Wish List:
I recommend just using that as a guideline of what he or she likes, rather than buy a gift straight from there. Sure you can do that, but it's not quite as fun!

The package will be completely anonymous, the web order slipped out of my hands and was completed before I could add a message.
As predicted, Amazon is a lying b****. Your presents will not be shipped until December 7th. Unless Amazon is lying to me again, inwhich case, they could come at anytime. In other words, I don't know what's going on, but you should be getting a package soon. Just be careful opening it: I hear raccoons sometimes carry rabies, and being shipped might make him a bit testy.

That's my experience anyway. I use USPS for small stuff, but anything in a larger box usually gets sent through UPS. I never use Fedex cause there's no shipment place around me.
UPS sucks for international though.
Tube gets coal every year. It's gotten so bad, he just refers to Christmas as "Coal Day".

Yes, if sending to Canada at any rate, USPS --> Canada Post is your best bet. Canada Post usually has an outlet located in a nearby convenience store, while UPS wishes us to trek into the middle of the frozen tundra, attempting to find a poorly-lit depot in an industrial district amidst the pitch-blackness that is Canada after 4pm in the winter.
So true...so true, especially with all the polar bears and flying hockey pucks out there. (Brrrrr...I get shivers just thinking of such a trek)

Dear Santee: I really hope you got your stuff, it's from Amazon and I've never used that site before, let alone bought stuff for someone in the UK ever. It was expensive for my budget so if someone by proxy can contact my santee for me to see if they may have received it that'd be great. Both orders were "Shipped" two weeks ago.

When I finally graduate from college and get a decent job, and can afford a house, it's going to look something like that around Christmas.
Even the inflatable things? Because those are truly hideous.
So I called into work so I could get the day off, and my doctor doesn't have ANY appointments today! Awesome. What the hell does this have to do with Secret Santa? Well as I was watching TV a package came, it was from an NFL shop and I thought it was a present my wife got me, but she said she didn't get me anything football related. And it was addressed to me. So I open it up and found an AWESOME Colts hoodie inside. But there was no note or anything.
And I got a proxy question yesterday that my Santa needed some more info for shipping purposes? But the order on the hoodie said it was sent on 11/28?
Well either way, this hoodie fits perfectly and is damn sweet. I'll post a picture of it when Doc makes a new thread. Thanks Santa, whoever you are....
Edit: Looks like this is the new thread. I'll post a picture after I go to the ER cause my doctor tells me that I have a respiratory infection over the phone, but they can't give me medicine unless they see me and as said above, they don't have any open appointments today.
