If it is not too late I would like to sign up as well.

Highest victory is on Prince, though I am somewhat out of sorts.

Map wise I would for anything with multiple continents as that spices up the mid-game a lot. Pangaea is a little dull unless going for conquest.

    Epic speed, obviously.

For leaders I would go for anyone with spiritual. Quick and painless changes fit well with the succession game type and should lead to a more dynamic/interesting game. It would also allow players to show off a little more.

Personal votes would be for Justinian/Isabella.

    Whooo! Sign me up.

My choices: Noble, Big and Small map, Fractal, Normal game length. I'd love to play Epic length, but whenever we start these we never finish.

I'll sign up if there is still room, just can't do a turn on (most) weekends.

Highest level I've won is monarch, normally playing marathon though.

I nominate the Ottomans; specifically Suleiman. +100% great people birth, +100% great general emergence, 50% settler cost. Decent UB and UU. But I normally play them as an aggressive espionage nation, which really compliments each of those (esp. with an early Great Wall wonder).

Otherwise the Brits for mostly the same reasons but with financial instead of either Philosophical or Imperialistic (with the respective queens).

If you got room, I'd like to play. Late game or Mid game is good for me. Give me riflemen, I will give you cities!

Give me more soldiers noble leader, so that we may sheath our swords into the beating hearts of our enemies!

Noble difficulty, is my preference, although we should up it if we are just smacking the crap out of the AIs.

    Sign me up.

I vote (if we have any say in it) for Greece under rule of Alexander (would be cool to try out a specialist economy in a succession game for once) or France with De Gaulle or Napoleon. And tectonics for map generation, even though it's a bit of gamble it's usually more interesting.

Also, is it possible to uninstall the BUG mod? Vanilla BTS works but Varietas Delectat (just a graphics mod) is screwed (the UI has vanished).

So we should almost definitely have two competing games at this point.

So we should almost definitely have two competing games at this point.

If that's the case, I'd probably want the non-Pangea map, if only because unlike some people, I enjoy naval stuff... especially if I'm the only one with oil and/or coal at the time

Anyway, highest difficulty I've beaten is Noble, though I could probably do okay with Prince if I pushed it.

It would be the same map. Goal would be to do better than the other team.

Should just be one game, cause you know, succession games can get rather unreliable without enough people.

We have 19 people, which is way too many. Even 10 is stretching it, so two games of 10 should be fine.

    Large or Huge.

I vote a non-player chooses the map settings; random civ and random enemies; all victory conditions; default game settings and saves at the start of 4000 B.C. then emails to the respective first players. This way players have no idea what to truly expect. Keep things within reason, but still plenty of mystery to be had.

edit: bleh, Lock Modified Assets doesn't hide the map choices from the player.

Oh, okay. That's fine. I just don't play above Noble yet, because I still have trouble mid game with keeping up production, building up cities, and making settlers for new cities. Also, if possible, there's one with the Expansive or the Industrious (50% build on settlers and 50% build on workers) Both together is Augustus, I think, but I've been playing Mehmed (Expansive/Organized) lately, for all of the improvement stuff. Anything else would be interesting, but my style of play is mostly geared toward scientific victory.

I'm going to see if I can actually get the patch installed this time. Then I will install BUG.

The in program patching thing only works if you bought a physical copy in a store. Otherwise you have to go through your direct download service of choice.
