I am willing to forgive him because that movie gave us the AvP series of video games which were awesome.
The games came first.
They were Dark Horse comics before they were games, weren't they?
Not sure which came first, but yeah, they had comics and games based on the AvP "concept" long before the shit-hurricane that was the movie.
They had that pretty badass arcade brawler back in the early 90's where you could play as 2 human characters and 2 Predator characters, and you just slaughtered hordes of Aliens.
TLB, you may never talk to me again after I tell you this, but on top of it being Chato's Land, the DVD was $4

I'm at this point with streaming netflix where i have nothing but foreign movies that are highly rated or award winners and i don't want to watch any of them but i feel obliged to because they are award winners. I wish they would add more streaming movies soon, getting kinda sick of seeing The Proposal as the newest movie to watch.
Ok, earlier in the thread someone mentioned Netflix did HD streaming. I am not sure if they were refering to displaying HD from Bluray or DVD or if they were talking about HD streaming from the internet, but since others were discussing the Wii's wifi ability I will assume they were talking about HD streaming from the internet. Please tell me how if this is possible and how I can set it up. I have tried to do the Netflix instant streaming, but it's quality is too poor to display on the large HD TV we have.
I am not sure if it's my internet or what, but here was the scenario:
I have broadband cable internet and I connected to this wirelessly with my laptop. I streamed a movie and displayed it on a large HDTV connected to my laptop by hdmi cable. The quality was extremely poor.

I have a 6meg Comcast connection and anything that is available in HD streams no problem. I'm using a 360 though.
Yeah I suspected that the wireless connection might be the cause. Sadly there is not much I can do about it though.
edit: I thought wireless speeds were fast enough for HD though? I mean my laptop was downstairs and the router upstairs, but is that enough intereference to reduce the connection speed that much?
