Bad Company 2: Explosions, Hyperbole, and Hyperbolic Explosions
Posts
Well, I was going to play. Oh well!
See, I did all of you a favor.
You'd just kick me for abusing overpowered weapons like the M24 anyway.
While I was having fun with it last night, it probably shouldn't be encouraged so much by the system.
*Anyone other than me.
I agree though, there is less of an emphasis on defibulatorinzap people when defending, comes in handy at key moments definitely, but should be used when the opportunity presents itself only when it will correlate to the enemy dying quicker.
I just "suicided" myself for n'th time trying to use the mortar - apparently if there is so much as a wisp of grass anywhere on my screen when I am trying to lock on to something then this is interpreted as me wanting to mortar the shit out of exactly where I am crouching.
Shitty bloody aiming system ><
Yes there's clearly no benefit for the defending team to have people back in action a few seconds after dying, right back on the front lines vs. respawning back at the base 10-15 seconds after death.
Sounds like whoever was on your team was doing a pretty bad job of playing offense.
I had a hilarious accident with this once on Nelson Bay. I thought i was mortaring far away but i was mortaring the hill i was on. Before the mortars hit two guys charged my hill and i backed away preparing to die horribly. Then right as they come over the hill my mortars started raining down killing them. Best mistake ever.
Bonus points for killing a defender with their own UAV and then booby trapping it with C4 for when they come looking for vengeance.
I think some snipers were sitting on one of the small islands shooting anyone who got IN a jetski before they started moving. I've done something similar with helicopters.
Yes. Getting headshotted as you get in the 'chopper is most annoying.
If you play with packet loss as bad as mine, being sniped really isn't possible. Yes, everyone is teleporting around. But so are you. You just aim with more forgiving weapons, like rocket launchers or 40mm grenades.
Being in a teleporting tank is also pretty great, I'm sure I've caused much nerd rage in enemy engineers.
So your solution to being spawn camped is to have a shitty internet connection?
Underlining words in the middle of a sentence that aren't hotlinks should get you 30 lashes
Precisely. I see everyone running around as normal, but it's just plain unnatural to kill someone and they drop right away. It's what I've become accustomed to. That means that when I shoot you in the face with my shotgun, I wait a second for you to die. It also means if you kill me in that second between when I shot you and you die on my screen, my hit won't register and I hit the dirt. Hence why shotguns battles on the Dome are not a good idea for me.
heh
This is an awesome idea.
And so is this!
shut up you smug goose you got two of your teammates killed I hate you
you know why they died
because you were so fat and when you fell on them
they got crushed
that's how fat you are
Ps4 : Gigawatt666
Steam I.D. : Gigawatt666
LoL : GiG4W4TT
Got kicked for it that's for sure.
It's not my 15 mbit down 3 mbit up internet connection
OK it's Telus, so it probably is my internet connection
I hate living in the rocky mountains so fucking much
Well, you see, the enemy's spawn, right?
You camp it.
Yeah guys don't push the attacking team back to their spawn :rotate:
This argument was cool in TF2 as well
I would call this good fun. I mean really, if you could pull that off you deserve the kills.
Which their spawn pretty much resides around the objectives.
Also shooting down choppers as they fly overhead.
I had like zero situational awareness...
It's ok!
