Some road somewhere in TnN, 04.19.58, approx 2AM

You drag Tank's limp body up onto the waiting truck bed and pile into Tim's old beat up truck. He whips it around and about 3 minutes later you arrive at a little farmhouse tucked away from road. It isn't much but they are connected to the LTG (Local telecomunications grid or matrix). Tim's wife has prepared some sandwiches for the group. She brings out as many blankets and pillows as she can find for you all but there isn't enough furniture to go around.

The older boy proudly brings out his ancient cyberdeck. He got it at a garage sale a couple years ago. Never really figured it out. He says he'll sell it to the group if they want it.

RE stun damage: Mages can't heal stun from drain. They can heal other stun.

I start patchin' folks up. Who needs patchin? I'll start with myself.

Tank took deadly stun. Lumiere has light stun I believe. That may be it. You guys really showed those goons and trolls what was what.

On magical healing. This is straight out of the book. page 193-194

Both Heal and Treat repair physical injuries. Each success
from the Sorcery Test can heal one box of physical damage (up to
a maximum equal to the spell’s Force), or be used to reduce the
base time for the spell to become permanent. Divide the base
time by the successes. The total successes can be split between
the two uses (healing and time reduction) as the caster desires.
Treat must be applied within one hour of injury, but it takes
only half the normal time (round down) to become permanent.
Heal may be applied anytime. A character can only be magically
healed once for any single set of injuries. The Drain Level
of the spell is equal to the subject’s Wound Level when the
    spell is cast.

So I take this to mean that magical healing works only on physical damage and can not heal stun at all. This makes a certain amount of sense mechanically but it seems a touch unfair to not even be able to heal non-drain stun damage. Doing so would of course mean that our casters would need to keep an eye on how much stun they take vs drain stun. I'll think about this.

    Healing stun pg 126
Technically, overcoming Stun damage is more a process of
recovery than healing. The time it takes to recover from Stun
damage is based on the amount of damage taken and the results
of a Body or Willpower Test. To recover from Stun damage, the
affected character rolls dice equal to either his Body or his
Willpower (whichever is higher) against a base Target Number 2.
This target number is modified by any appropriate Stun or
    Physical injury modifiers.
Recovering from a box of Stun damage takes a base time
of 60 minutes. The actual time it takes to recover 1 box of Stun
damage is equal to the base time, divided by the number of
successes rolled. After this period has elapsed, the recovered
damage is erased from the Condition Monitor. A character who
has been knocked unconscious from Deadly Stun damage will
not wake up until his or her Stun damage is reduced to Serious.
To recover from Stun damage, the character must be resting
completely. If this resting time is interrupted, the recovery
process aborts and the character must make the Body or
Willpower Test again, using his current condition. The result can
never be better than the result of the first roll, however.
No medical treatment really helps to recover Stun damage,
nor does any magical spell currently known to man. Stim patches
provide a temporary solution, but with definite long-term drawbacks.
See Stimulant Patches, p. 305 of the Street Gear chapter.

The only RAW solutions to stun are rest and stim patches. It really doesn't take too long. A good night's sleep and Tank will be fine.

it's important to note the stun track is just a precursor to the physical track - weapons with an S code take a few extra hits to start to really hurt you - for example, if you have 9 boxes of stun, and I do another Medium stun too you, you would take your last box of stun and 2 p. You stun track is a buffer certain forms of damage ignore, if it helps conceptually. The stun track literally takes only minutes to heal for most PCs

I get that concept and agree with it, yet an inability to really do much about an unconscious status is a lazy oversight by the writers in my opinion. There's no reason they couldn't address that it's magic and it should be able to at least help that person to operate, with difficulty, if nothing else. Oh well, this is a dead issue. Moving on to bumpkin land...

He inquires a bit about the surrounding area (any nearby towns or villages, the quickest way back to Dublin), about the fomorian attacks (how often they occurred, when they started, and if they think there are any more out there), and if there is anything else out in the woods to be concerned about.

Blackstone finds a perch with his back to a wall, close to window. Occasionally he peers outside into the forest, and up into the clouds, keeping eye out for any follow up assaults, or vampire raids.

"So, what now chummers? We need to get back to Dublin and find out what the frag went wrong and why we were set up to die. We all saw it coming, but now that its here what do we do about it? Finding a secluded corner, Cross settles down onto the floor and opens the briefcase he's been lugging around all day. Even with metahuman fortitude, his shoulders feel stiff as he stretches them. "Let's see what we got here." The papers had been stuffed inside in a haphazard manner with speed of insertion as their sorting method. With time to spare, he begins the arduous task of organizing them into some sort of understandable structure while glancing over their contents.

One ear is kept open to the conversation of his fellows. "It's possible the boss wasn't in on it. We shouldn't jump to conclusions. Besides which, we're alive and got quite a windfall for it. Revenge won't make us any richer."

Ohhhkay. Incase you didn't know one should never, under no circumstances, take to drinking irish whiskey from the bottle.

    In other news...

The Mcdonnells do not have credsticks at all. They do everything in cash. Luckily I believe it was cross who came across a wallet full of 100's. 6,000 worth of them.

He (alistair) inquires a bit about the surrounding area (any nearby towns or villages, the quickest way back to Dublin), about the fomorian attacks (how often they occurred, when they started, and if they think there are any more out there), and if there is anything else out in the woods to be concerned about.

The old man tells Alistair that the nearest town would be Enniskillen. That's about 45 minutes to the south by car. The quickest way back to Dublin would be to take the bus from Enniskillen. He offers to drive you there in the morning for 300¥ or if you like, he's even willing to sell it for 10,000¥. And, nice guy that he is, he'll even sell ya petrol or foodstuffs at reasonable rates.

The fomorian attacks have been going on for the last few months. Usually they don't pose much of a threat to humanity but this group has been particularly predatory. To celebrate your victory over them the guy gets out a big bottle of whiskey and starts pouring some drinks for you all. He says he's been tracking them for a while, trying to figure out where their lair is so that he can call the authorities. He's not sure how many of them were out there but it's probably safe to bet there are more than just 4.

Old Tim asks sort of offhandedly what a group of 9 foreigners are doing wandering the woods late at night. The boys are much more interested in hearing whether everyone packs heat in America, if the streets of NYC are really paved with gold and of course how the rich and famous trideo stars live.

Cross begins picking through the papers in the briefcase. A few things are immediately clear. There is a logo for O'Toole Transcom clearly marked on the documents. These appear to all be maps of ferry and internal communication networks at Rosslare, the southern port of Tir na Nog which handles most of the ferry traffic from europe.

After studying them for a moment it becomes clear that these maps contain sketchy details, but clearly mark the security and customs sites as well as hidden surveillance positions.

Alistair accepts the drink rather readily. It was welcome after everything that went down today.
"Your offer is a fair one, Timothy," he says, coughing a bit from the whisky. "We will accept the ride in the morning."

He responds to the question of what they're doing here as vaguely as possible. "Just a business trip. We got a little lost."
He tries to dismiss the subject as quickly as possible, and jumps immediately into regaling the boys with tales from America, obviously embellished for their sake.

"We should discuss our plans further tomorrow. I think it would be best if we got all got some sleep, no?"

Miss McConnell looks somewhat shocked as the one with the even funnier accent suggests that she lie to the police. She obviously isn't sure that's a good idea. And she's starting to think maybe she is harboring some criminals here. The right amount of money might silence her.

Blackstone notes the backdoor leading out toward the farm area.
