    Not that I'll ever find the runes needed for it, but what armor do people usually use to make an Enigma? (For Necros, specifically)

    Picked up a 3os Mage Plate, and I seem to remember it being popular, but it is only exceptional...

    I think Dusk Shrouds and Archon Plates are what people usually go for, but if you're a Necro you're probably not getting hit much anyway, so a Mage Plate should do you OK.

    Mage plates are popular with botters since it's easily strength glitchable. With AP and DS Enigmas, you risk losing gear when your bot dies if you don't strength glitch correctly.

    That's the only reason I can think of why mage plates are popular, if you can afford the Jah and Ber, you can afford to get a 3os AP.

    Ah, I see. Thanks all. While we are on the subject of Necros in search of good gear, what would be a best fit as far as belts go? Would I be correct in assuming an Arachnid's Mesh?

    Yep, only belt with +1 skill assuming you're using minions, unfamiliar with other builds

    Does battle.net still support Diablo 1? Also what was the deal with the hellfire expansion, it wasn't made by Blizzard right? Could you still play it online? I remember my brother had it and the monk looked cool. My buddy gave me a copy of D1 recently.

    Hellfire was made by Sierra and was the only official expansion for D1. I have no idea if you can still play it online. If you can be aware that it's notoriously hackable(three words to think on: Town Kill Patch).

    Actually i reinstalled it awhile back and the servers for D1 didn't exist anymore Blizz cannibalized them.

    But i heard that around when they reannounced D3 they put a server back up for D1 again.. no idea if they bothered to keep it up till now though. they really don't seem to give a shit about it.

    I remember the last couple of times i went on there, there were fewer and fewer people on, till eventually there wasn't anyone at all.

    so i decided to use my final free respec to go full frost blizz and the ability to kill meph in ~3 seconds is pretty much the Best Thing

    I'm wondering whether there are better ways to keep track of what people ISO/FT; updating the OP has proven as tedious as I feared. Also I don't think anyone has made one useful trade out of it yet. :P

    I'll update it for the remaining two pages anyhow, then I'll probably disclude it out of the next thread OP, if I make the new OP.
