It isn't resting that gives you an XP multiplier, it's bitching.

Amazon sent me an email saying next weekend at the soonest for the beta code. I'm thinking fuck that.

Game's coming out "when it's done". Activision hopes before summer starts.

I have some in-game item code thingies for Warhammer Online that I got with two Warhammer board games. I hear they go for more than the board games themselves cost. Silly WAR players.

Two quick questions about attending a wedding reception:

    1) Wedding open bar: You would normally tip, right? I normally do anyway, but I haven't been to a wedding in years.

    2) We skipped the ceremony. Not my choice. I only had one way of getting there and one of the people I am going with is unable to be out for so long. The ceremony was a full three hours before the reception and she's not even sure she'll have the energy/strength to stay for the entire reception (which means I would have to leave early as well).

Leaving early isn't a big deal to me but I guess I feel bad about missing the ceremony even though the person will understand why (they know about the medical condition of the person in my party). So what's the right etiquette here? I'm assuming on your wedding day things are a little intense and the groom (and bride) might not have even noticed we weren't there. If I do get a chance to talk to the groom at the reception, should I bother saying something like "sorry we couldn't make it to the ceremony...Soandso couldn't be out for that many hours though." At first I was leaning toward yes but now I'm leaning toward not encumbering the groom with anything like this on his wedding.

And if I don't say anything now, should I ever bring it up in the future? I don't see him on a regular basis. I do see him once in a while. He lives on my block. Been friends for a long time but we don't "hang out" like that or anything.

    I'm probably overthinking this.

Show up to the reception and stay as long as you can. Make sure you speak to the couple and congratulate them. No need to apologize about missing the ceremony - they won't have even noticed I bet. Thank them for inviting you to the reception. I don't see any reason to bring it up in the future.

    Tip the bartender, yeah.
