Cody is as good as I had hoped.
Dudley on the other hand, to me is just fun. Lovin the difficulty, combo depth, his cross counter is awesome. Just started kind of getting the hang of his combos towards the end. Hes lookin like my boy, but i have yet to really try any of the other new characters, even tho i know i hate grapplers so hakan and the hawk are crossed off already.
Great games in the lobby, Hakan when oiled up is a dick. Dan's new ultra is awesome, and everything ive experienced so far from SSF4 is satisfying. The lobbys are tight.

Oh yeah, Claw is good in this game - not as good as ST mind you, but almost as annoying as the ST version.

Guy: Very fun. Target combo doesn't seem to difficult, but i still manage to mess it up every now and then. Looking forward to trying him in an actual match.
Dudley: Soooo many target combos. Am i actually supposed to memorize all of them? It feels like i'm playing Tekken all over again. Surprisingly easy challenge mode. Managed to clear it without too much trouble. Perhaps this is a good sign?
Makato: I want to love her. I really do, but holy crap i can't get the hang of her. I'll have to try again later
Abel: Did they make F+mk, Dash, HP easier to do or was i getting lucky over and over? I cleared his last trial with such ease.
Oh big deal, so they get into some techno-babble debates about joystick inputs or FADC into whatever. They probably don't get into a whole thing where they pit one SF game against the other.
.....okay, maybe they do. The point is they still come up with cool stuff.

Considering SRK forum is pretty hardcore for fighting games, and that as mean as they get is as mean as you get with street fighter...

I have absolutely no timing with Makoto. I just command grab after forward grab instead of dashing and command grabbing. And I missed her ultra after command grab like twenty times : (

Yeah don't do that. Pretty sure it resets to neutral after the throw, so not enough + frames to make it an actual working gimmick.
Don't give up Stoked! He just doesn't play like the rest of the cast, you have to be clever with him. When you get somebody off balance with your attacks you can take half their life in less than 5 seconds. Just don't ever go toe to toe with anyone, pick your spots. Get in, get out, then back in.
He is a little awkward but I think once I get a better handle on his normals it'll be gravy. He's just so damn fast, I can't get enough.
Oh Bison is like sick good now. I think I have over a 90% win rate with him alone. Went on a 20+ game winstreak with just him before I got bored.
Oh and Vega, sweet sweet Vega. I can totally deal with chun way better than before. It's amazing how something as little as launching off higher on the wall makes a huge difference against her. Fucking bitch.

Of the new characters, I still think I like Ibuki the most, but she is significantly harder to use than I expected. She doesn't have any simple links and her target combos alone are a little too fast to hit confirm with. Also her kunais need to be perfectly timed on wakeup or you can't even combo out of them.
I also liked using Cody, but I think that applies to just about everyone. I want to make his U2 work, but the only ways to combo it aren't exactly what you would call reliable.
I switched to creating games yesterday and it never took longer than like, 20 seconds to get a match.
Is there anyway to use the alt costumes from vanilla SFIV? I saw some dude in Sakura's alt costume last night and have no idea how he got it. I knew I should have sent him a message.

Just set arcade to random battles. I've yet to make a single hit on the first person before "HERE COMES A NEW CHALLENGER" pops up.

Even the guide pretty much says she's one hell of a bitch to play as. Only the intial kick of Fuhajin is safe... other then that none of her specials are safe.
She doesn't suck, she's just a very tough character to get the hang of and play.

I enjoyed going through Juri's trials, but I never played as her in a match, but Chaos was so disappointed in her and popular opinion seem to be the same. And I still have to try ou so many other characters.
She doesn't have as much priority because 90% of the time, you should keep your opponent on the defensive. She's a fucking rushdown beast.
