Well Nibbler was alive in the year 2000 to push Fry into the cryo tube.
Theory time: Remember the tooth rings that convinced PlanEx that he was 5? My theory is that those grow every 1000 years, not every year. So Nibbler is 5000+ years old.
There were 3 rings. And they were linking to his age when the veterinarian assumed "if he's anything like a tree". And he had suffered a heavy beating from a tiger.
There were 5. Your other points are valid, though. That's why it's a theory. Like gravity, or the shape of the earth.

THERE. ARE. THREE. RINGS.
Three Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky, seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone, nine for Mortal Men doomed to die, one for the Dark Lord on his dark throne in the Land of Mordor where the shadows lie.
I don't know what made me think that they were only going to play 2 episodes and then the real season would start later in the year. I totally missed everything.

I like to think Fry was right even if it's because he wasn't able to count to five.

I have a podcast now. It's about video games and anime!Find it here.
Another good episode in what has proven to be a somewhat uneven season, though mostly more good than bad.
Fry's seeming spiral into pure retard-level stupidity continues unabated, however . . . .
I'm having one of those things! A headache with pictures!
An idea?
(vigorous nodding)
Fry would have to try to chew off his own arms or manage to screw up pushing a button to be any dumber than he has been this season.
You know, I try not to contribute like this because this thread repeatedly just degenerates into a bunch of Futurama quotes *anyway*, but I was *really* hoping someone was going to respond to this with: "But, both of those things *did* happen." Only so DK could respond, "I know, I was deliberately describing a similar situation."
Alternatively, the initial response could've been "I could pound your head 'til you think that's what happened." But that's my internal response to a lot of people asking for things... it's so versatile!
Wired's got a list of favorite Futurama moments from a bunch of the cast and crew. The article's got mild spoilers on Devo in tonight's episode, but it's great overall. And once again, Maurice LaMarche proves why he's awesome:
"This calls for a party baby! I'm ordering 100 cakes, 100 hookers, and 100 Elvis impersonators, who are aren't above a little hooking, should the occasion arise!"

Phillip J. Fry, first man on Mars. Pretty sure he is long dead.
"Oh no, it's another one of Fry's dogs"
The harder the rain, honey, the sweeter the sun.
Also, it looks like Futurama's going to acknowledge the 100th episode in its usual subtle way.

I'm sure this is not a mistake
You realize that doesn't change the fact that it was his nephew right?
I guess he does his stuff separately?
Probably not. Good eye.
Nah, the video description said he was just running late that day.
And this has been a really good 100th ep so far.
They've had censors since moving to CN?

"The largest and only land boat in existence!" Or something to that effect.
Not to mention Hermes' bus comment.
oh god
fixed
But I don't understand
He's his own grandfather.
Alternate option: he wasn't in long enough - in the Leela's parents episode they mention it takes a few minutes.
