I think this was the first PAX where I actually didn't have some sort of cold or flu or whatever on the trip home. I came prepared with my small bottle of germ-x, cold medicine and bottle of vitamin c.
I hope everyone else did alright, I was also trying to generally eat healthier. A lot of veggies can go a long way to keeping your immune system boosted. How did everybody else do?

I sure came back with a flu, I had the lucky break of sitting beside someone who I later found out had a 105 fever in the handheld lounge, not that I can guarantee that's who infected me, I'll blame him anyway because it's easy.
Slightly sore throat, but that might have been my lack of drinking water more than anything. Guzzled about four bottles of water on the plane ride back home and I felt fine before we landed.
I got PAX-H1N1 last year, so this year I washed my hands tonnes of times.
Yeah I also noticed they had tonnes of hand cleanser gels everywhere too.
So yay! no pax-flu this year
I avoided filling my water from any of the communal water coolers (were there even any this year?), used sanitizer after every demo station, used soap and water before meals and before getting on my BYOC machine and generally tried to eat healthy and keep snacks on me. Worst I got was jet lag from traveling 10 miles from my house. Unfortunately returned to work to find someone across the hall from me doggedly sick and getting nastier by the hour. So much for getting out of PAX unscathed!!
I lost my voice after a night of yelling over people at a dance party and laughing my guts out at 1am before I had to fly out. I regained it after I got home but it's funny to know that I can say I laughed so hard I lost my voice.
Nope, feeling fine which is nice since after Prime last year I was out for another week of work due to the flu. This year I was more careful to disinfect the hands with purell after playing demos and thoroughly scrubbing down before eating. Also lots of sleep, water and vitamin c probably helped.
Not sick at all, which is nice, because after prime last year, I ended up having to drop all my classes due to illness.

Started getting a sore throat mid-Monday, and slept pretty much all of Tuesday. So far it's just a scratchy throat and some fatigue... <blood pours out of eye sockets, back bubbles form and pop out small goblinesque creatures>

I didn't get sick, but the transmission in my car died as we were getting on the highway to go home. That should count for something.
No sickness here. And I did a lot of handshaking and meeting people. Last year was really just a really bad case of what will always happen when we have so many people sharing a small area for so long.
I do hope that everyone who got sick is feeling better.

Somehow I dodged the bullet this year. I think it was because I slept just about all the way home. (23 hours on Amtrak)
I am actually pretty thrilled about it, because last year by this time I was hallucinating a bit.

Yea I was getting a little worried since lack of sleep can do some horrible things to the immune system, but I think I just had everything working in the other departments. The vitamin C was key imo, but the hand sanitizer was also helpful.
Everyone in my crew survived this year except for mild cases of post-PAX depression. I'm glad because last year I was pretty much in a coma right now. I washed my hands pretty religiously but I still abused myself with alcohol and crappy food for the most part.

sore throat and a runny nose, pretty much all better by Tuesday morning but generally just feeling a bit run down now. Just need another solid night of sleep.
Slight temperature, mostly feeling rather wobbly. A bit mopy because I'm ill 5,000 miles from home, but I fly back tomorrow. Used the hand cleansers, but there was a lot of travelling and not a lot of sleep...
So far so good. Biggest difference for me this year was I avoided the bean bags in the handheld lounge. I swear germs hang out there more than anywhere else. Oh and if I could, I avoided the headsets, especially the mics.
I luckily didn't get sick this year nor did I get PAX-flu last year. Though due to how much more fun I had this year I'm going through a phase of Post-PAX lethargy

The unorthodox and the unlikely - it's what I do, it's what I'm good at.
I'm healthy, but the friend I was traveling with returned with a wicked cold. I was wrecked for two weeks after PAX East, so I'm thankful for getting one convention off from con crud!

I exclaimed "Khoo is my Sensei!"
So if memes make great shirts,
And Pod Six is Jerks,
Then Moe, Khoo and I had our day.
I do hope that everyone who got sick is feeling better.

Husband came home perfectly fine, and then got it from me.

May have picked it up from the kind of yucky bar I stumbled into while looking for food before my train left on Monday.
