It's interesting seeing the responses of "bullshit" and complete disbelief around the net, mixed with great optimism. For some reason, it kinda makes me think of when the Gamecube render demo video came out and there was a quick (first) clip of samus running through a corridor, then pointing her armcannon at the camera. While everyone was elated with what they saw, alot of people refused to believe it only on account of the timeframe between titles (6 years at the point of that Gamecube render demo).

Regardless, i've looked forward to DNF for a good while. If it doesn't come out then i'll just find some other wonderful title to play, but if 3Drealms keeps plugging away at it on their own time, then i'll gladly look forward to the release date and just be happy that it was ever in development in the first place.

If it's an in-game shot, why does is show Duke Nukem himself? Have they departed from the FPS genre or something, or does "in-game" count cut-scenes?

Alternative explanation: gameplay includes cloning.

You know, I watched the E3 trailer from a hefty amount of years ago and I was actually pretty excited by what they were doing.

Sure the graphics weren't anything compared to what we have now, but it looked fun..

I would've been happy playing that version.
