You are one of many. A refugee in the CityofX. The Last City in the Wasteland.
Ruled by the tyrants simply known as S. and F., they hide in their black fortress, running the city in secret through figureheads and secret police. Fear is their tactic, Gouda is their cheese, Flintstones is their cartoon, and Freedom is their enemy. They have a thousand DVDs that you will never have. And while they sit in their posh underground lairs populated with furniture created by minimalist Swedish interior designers with minimalist leanings, you sit in the gutters along with the rest of the refugees. That is until he arrived.
THE ROBOT SAVIOR
He emerged from sewers. Heavily damaged and close to complete systems failure, he gave the people a way to fight back. The robot had been taken prisoner during the original coup d'état that allowed the infamous tyrants to take control, he said there was a way to fight back.. the VOTE. He told us to strike out at the puppets. Strike off the limbs to take down the head. And with that he opened up his stomach and out popped 40 usb cords like several dozen umbilical cords with small tablets each on the other end. He told us the tablets were the key. Each member of the crowd grabbed one. Soon the lights in the robot's eyes would flicker out.

What is different inr@NDOM PHALLA? r@ndomphalla is a mostly traditional game with a focus on village vs. mafia. In this case Rebels being the village and the "Letter Agents" being the mafia. Where r@ndomphalla differs from most games is that the fluff associated with your role is not preassigned to an alignment or power pre-game. That is to say there can be Mayan Sorcerer of Immense Power who could end up as a villager, special, odd ball, or mafia.
This serves two functions:
Allows everyone a sense of identity (even vanillagers ,although YMMV).
A focus on player behavior with fluff taking a sideline seat. Rolecall problems are obviously not an issue and powers are not dependent on the role.
Sample Villager PM
[REBEL] Victory Condition: Eliminate the Letter Agents.
Sample Mafia PM
[Letter Agent] Victory Condition: Outnumber the Rebels.

How are Ties Resolved? In the case of a tie, both leaders will be removed from the game.
Will death order remain the same each night's results? Yes and you should have a general sense of who is doing what or if a kill is missing.
Are some roles more amusing than others? Sadly yes.
Is there a chance I won't find any of them amusing? Yep.
CaptainPlanet82 asks Will we be using the 1 2 5 counting system? No.
Are the number of (and what) abilities RNG'd? No.
Are the number of mafia/village/neutral members RNG'd? No.
What is the order of actions? Vote>Manipulation>Guard>Kill>Seer
Are there any unorthodox abilities/roles? A few , some of which you'll likely know when you see it.
I don't honestly know what my homework load is going to be this week, so until I get a better idea of what my schedule is going to be, I'll just reserve and get back to you later.

What happens if everyone randomly gets homing vlads?
Does that mean we all win?
Everyone left it unsaid, pointing it out is very suspicious of you.
Whoever wins, we lose.
