Hey, I got a problem. My party is at about level 50 now and just finished the story. My problem is that there are absolutely no places to train my guys effectively. Victory road is too weak, and all the trainers now have level sixties. Is there a good place where I can train my guys up? because I REALLY don't want to have to grind.
1) Do Strength-boulders stay pushed after you leave the area in this game?
2) Is it possible to navigate the Moor during the winter? These frozen lakes are making it really fucking hard/impossible to get to certain areas. There's a parasol lady that I can't reach because the lake is frozen over.
And a story related one which I will spoiler:
Where did Alder/Juniper/Cheren/etc get the Light Stone? I could've sworn I went all the way to the bottom of Relic Castle and they told me nothing was down there. Then they say to go to the Nacrene City Museum and they magically have the light stone? I'm confused.
2) Sort of. Having surf helps, but I think there are some areas that you can't get to. Not a huge deal, just come back next month.
Story-related: It was there when you first went to that town. It was even showed to you.
On the tour? Did you not check the exhibits?
I did look, yeah, but that's probably in the neighborhood of 8-12 hours of gameplay ago, and I certainly don't remember it. I'm playing Black right now, but after I finish this, I'm gonna go through White so I'll have to try to take note.
And it seems like they should've made a bigger deal about it if it was gonna be so important to the plot. At the time I did it, the only thing that seemed important was the dragon in the middle. Everything else seemed like fluff.
I'm pretty happy that battle mechanics didn't change drastically. One can fight in Gen IV without needing to remember a lot of changes beyond some moves and abilities.
If someone creates a miracle foolproof medicine that is a cure for the common cold, cancer and loneliness but it has the minor side effects of explosive diarrhea, uncontrollable bleeding from the eyes and murder-fugues, that's not a total 'resounding' success.

Where can I obtain a TM of ice beam? I want to teach it to my Samurott before I enter into glorious battle with the Opelucid gym leader. (If possible).
Xeno has a decent list of TM locations on the first page

Because in past games all the really good ones (Flamethrower, Earthquake etc) were reobtainable so it didn't really matter, and it encourages you to try out different strategies.
Also because there are no move tutors in B/W and they need to tide you over til Grey comes out :P

The only thing I miss about the old TMs is not being able to let your Pokemon hold them. Now, for Pokemon Grey or any future games, I'll have to trade my Pokemon over in order to teach it a move instead of simply sending it over to the new cart. It'll make teaching more than 6 Pokemon at a time a bit annoying.

I never imagined in my wildest dreams there was anyone who saw a problem with infinite use TMs.

If I pass down a non-HP IV with a Power Item, will it then be impossible for the parents to pass down their HP IV's since HP only has a chance to be inherited on the first pass?

I thought they changed it in HGSS (and gen 5) that there was only a single pass for the IVs now, with all of them having an equal probability?

I have a theory that it also allows them to make TM selections different between various games. grey and the Gen 3 remakes will have different TMs. Which is good because half of the ones in white blow ass.

I've passed down a HP IV while using a Power Anklet to pass down speed.
Flawless? Sure, wanna catch me a flawless Darmanitan, lol?
Hey, man, choose something that can appear when you use Sweet Scent.
I thought you were just gonna breed one like you said earlier, I wasn't specifically saying catch one. And shit, I have no idea what's Sweet Scent catchable and what's not. I was just throwing out a poke. If it's a hassle, don't sweat it.

Therefore, someone should help me Trade-evolve him so I don't have to look at it anymore!
Any takers?
I can do that.
