Did DC give it a number?

I would think you make it the new Damian outfit simply to nudge people into looking at the comics, since it's coming out around the same time (a month later).

    In regards to Diablo's post
As far as I know, "the invaders" is just the name the HOwling Commando's take when they're fucking up Hydra shit.

Sounds like RDJ is pushing to get Marvel to hire Jon Favrau back as Happy Hogan in Iron Man 3.

I've watched Emerald Knights twice in the last few days, and I hate to say it, but I didn't really feel it. I've read all the character stories directly adapted to the film, and I found the animated versions pretty slow moving and lacking in tension. I think I liked the original one, about Avra, the best. Laira's was pretty cool too, but it had the same problem where it felt like it just went on forever.

And then I was expecting a really epic confrontation at the end of the frame, that would be about as long as one of the character segments, but instead we just got this quick, stupid conclusion to hurry the movie to its finish. So I was bummed by that, too.

Was the frame based on any particular Krona story, or was it just a new thing thrown together?

If this is real, it looks like they updated the Captain America costume for the Avengers movie. That looks a lot better than the current one.

So there are no reviews yet of Green Lantern, which is not a great sign.

Someone who caught an early screening compared it to Steel. I have no idea of whether or not that's meant to be a joke though.

I heard this from an editor of a comic site. Which is all I guess I should say until the movie hits.

Also, reviews trickling in on Rotten Tomatoes. 27% so far.

Judging by all the scenes that take place on Earth in the trailers, I was kind of surprised when people started thinking this wasn't going to be a bad movie

Hopefully keeping my expectactions low will lead to the whole experience being a pleasant surprise

It's now down to 20%. Maybe that's because a tomato is red and their doing a color coded theme? Yeah, that's the ticket...

For a while I was sure that X-Men: First Class would be the bad one and GL would be the good one.

This is not a good sign for the new DC Entertainment.

At least Green Lantern: Emerald Knights is pretty good. However the short focusing on Laira just makes it all the more depressing that we won't be seeing another Wonder Woman animated movie until there's a live action movie to promote.

I'm sad that Martin 'Bond' Campbell couldn't make a good Green Lantern Movie.

So... sounds like Green Lantern sucks... and I thought it looked promising! Oh well, no skin off my back, I really couldn't care less about Green Lantern, and I have a very pleasant image of Thor standing over a bloodied and beaten Ryan Reynolds.

Geoff Johns made it a competition. DC's characters are "BIGGER" (*aka* better)? Fuck you Johns!

    http://movies.ign.com/articles/112/1126895p1.html

DC kicks ass in the animated department, but Batman aside, Marvel has the one up on the big screen. I appreciate the balance in that.

It's not a competition even if Geoff John's wants it to be a competition (and in some senses, the DC comics characters are more iconic than Marvel ones, because guys like Superman and Wonder Woman have much more of a significant cultural meaning than any Marvel characters).
