i just had a horrible moment when i was brushing my teeth
I had to remove a shitload of evergreen branches that were stapled around the windows of my grandma's house today, since my uncle hasn't gotten around to it and they've been there since Christmas.

That's horrifying yet unfounded because I doubt your braces would just let go of a tooth like that, especially after they've been tightened. I visit my ortho next week and I am getting some ANSWERS on when I can get them off (hopefully).
one time I felt my chest was really hurting me and I was pretty freaked out because when you go to webMD and put in "chest pain" it says GO TO THE HOSPITAL IMMEDIATELY
so I went to the ER and they said nothing was really wrong with me. they blamed it on my asthma and sent me home with some vicodin.

The last time that I've been freaked out to hell would be my last HIV test.
The doctor told me that a negative result shows up within a day or two, but positives take longer to confirm.
After a week without hearing back from them, I was out of my mind. That persisted for two more weeks after that, when I finally got a letter stating that I was all clear.
It was like the heavens themselves opened up to reward me with the best news of my adult life. But still... goddamn that was a harsh few weeks.
One of my two front teeth is half false and has been since I was a kid. Last halloween after I got home from a party the false bit came off while I was eating something.
It is pretty terrible having a tooth bit in your mouth, and even worse having the raw edges of your tooth exposed.
All I really remember from the time when I chipped it is falling headfirst into a metal chair while playing tag with my sister, and then feeling the bit with my tongue and pulling it out of my mouth. I cried and ran to my parents holding part of my own tooth as though they could put it back on.
I love that your first thought ran to "oh shit I knocked out a tooth," even though they are all presumably held in place by your braces. Even if one came unrooted, it'd still be stuck in your mouth for a bit, trapped by the wire!
unless of course they all somehow came out at once
wouldn't that be horrifying? You're brushing your teeth and then all of a sudden every single one comes tumbling out of your mouth, dragging the one behind it until all that's left is a bloody mass of wire and tooth in the sink? And there's nothing you can do to stop them from falling out? Ha ha!
Anyway, uh
try not to think of that next time you're brushing your teeth or whatever

oh there are a few which aren't tied in
Lucky. (I think). My teeth were pretty dang misaligned before I got my braces two and a half years ago (ugh), so I'm glad to have that fixed.
I haven't been to a dentist in a while, every time i go i'm told to work on my gums, and that my teeth are awesome. then we high five, and i remember the time i slept wit his son, in a non sexual way and laugh to myself.
I am missing a molar because I had a filling slip out and it got all messed up inside and I didn't get it treated properly after then the whole thing had to come out.

But it is 94% humidity.

I really wish I could say this. Seriously, why as a teenager are we dumb
i have all my teeth, no cavities, wisdom teeth grew in just fine. my gums aren't much to write home about, but the rest of it, hoo boy.
Gimme dem teeths.
This, can be arranged. For a price.
Mostly because if something happens dental insurance is a joke and it will be very costly to fix them
...I should go brush my teeth

Flossing is the most important bit.
I have had tooth trouble, so now I brush, mouthwash, floss, lightly brush, then swish with a -small- amount of mouthwash every night.
It sucks
but I've been thinking of having 'em knocked out and replaced with big metal teeth like that one bond villain had
maybe a beak, I could dig a beak
