The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
EVERYONE who bought the bundle before #2 was added gets it for free, even if you only paid one penny. It's just people who buy it from now on that have to pay above the average to get it.
They've added the second Humble Indie Bundle and 2 extra games since the offer has gone live.
I've actually already got everything except for Hammerfight.
What the heck is Hammerfight?
If I'm remembering correctly you control this flying thing that has a hammer swinging underneath it like a wrecking ball and you do battle with other such contraptions.
It's more deep than that, but I think that's the core gameplay.
Guys. VVVVVV has a level editor. I don't know if that's a new thing. The chatlunteers appear to be overloaded with IMs.
> Is the version of VvvvvVVvvvVVVvvVVVVvVVVVV in this bundle the same as the one on Steam?
> I would hate to miss out on the level editor, or the experience of reaching the bottom of a tower and bouncing up again instead of dying.
The only bad part about this bundle is that I already have all the games except one, and being broke, it then makes it harder to give more than a few bucks.
The level editor/mod tools version of VVVVV isn't on Steam yet, but will be shortly (the new version is pretty new actually). The HB version is the updated one.
I'd get in on this but I already own the only game from that pack that interests me (VVVVVV). And I'm broke, but even if I had the money I'd refer you to my first sentence.

I loved the first Humble Bundle and stupidly missed out on the second, so I'm definitely grabbing the hell out of this.
I always buy these out of principle, but it's a nice bonus that I don't have any of the games this time. The first bundle was insane as it had Aquaria and Penumbra, both of which are individually more than the $20 or whatever that I threw in.
Out of morbid curiosity, how does everyone usually allocate their money?

I think for the first bundle I gave it all to the devs, for the second one I gave most of it to the devs, about 1/4 to the humble bundle guys, and some to charity.
Another one already? Fuck, I haven't even played any of the games I got in HIB2 yet. I was planning on just saying "screw it" this time, but then I saw the game list. I played demos of AYIM and Crayon Physics long ago and really enjoyed them. I played a demo of Cogs, and it's definitely interesting and well crafted, but I'm not sure if it's something I'd want to stick with for too long. I never played v^6 but obviously it gets raved on, so I'm definitely interested in that. Hammer time seems to be the dark horse this time.
But considering 3 out of 5 of these greatly interest me, it looks like I'm forced to buy some more games I'll never get around to playing. Bastards.

I usually go for even spreads, but this time I gave a bit extra and directed most of the money towards the devs.
I already have vvvvvv and the other games aren't must-play for me. That doesn't rule out the possibility of buying this as a gift for friends, though... especially friends who haven't played vvvvvv.
I've enjoyed VVVVVV so much since release that I won't hesitate buying it again and gifting it I've always wanted Crayon Physics too, so that just sweetens the deal
It's the fourth technically but it's the third indie bundle since the "third" one was all just Frozenbyte, even the humble guys are calling it the third.
And Yet it Moves was actually what I went in for on this one. Loved the demo. Hammerfight enrages me to no fucking end. I'm fighting some worms and my NPC teammate keeps murdering me.
I thought Crayon Physics was going to be fun, and an interesting look at Scribblenaughts, but it's more like a less fun World of Goo.
Nonetheless, was a decent purchase. Fun to play Indie games.
for those who don't know what hammerfight is, it is a fairly addictive physics based action game, basically you equip different types of giant weapons on your airship and spin them around by using your mouse, and then make them destroy other airships.
the description might not do it for you but you should watch a trailer for it, it is a lot of fun
Bought and bought. HIB games represent the majority of my Steam library at this point.

I bought Crayon Physics Deluxe back when it was on sale from the developer as a "pay what you want", but I've actually been hoping it would show up on one of these bundles so I could get it on Steam. Yay! It's true that it doesn't have amazing design or anything, but it's so fun to play with a tablet.
Been wanting to try VVVVVV, too. I've heard of AYIM but I have no idea what it is, and I haven't heard of the other two at all, so I'll be going into those totally blind.

Played AYIM during the Steam summer camp, it's a puzzle base game that let's you rotate the world. You rotate the world to get to the end, it can get a bit tricky in the later stages. It's not that bad of a game.
I got it for my girlfriend as a present - to kickstart her gaming career on the mac, so to speak. I already own VVVVVV - it's worth for that one alone.

That game was made by a group of students at my university a few years back - saw the early prototypes of it. It looked already quite interesting back then, so I might have to sneak on my gf's computer to try it sometime.

I can gift bits of the bundle right?

I already own hammerflight but I'll take this deal anyway
The irony.
Edit: Yay!
No doubt. These bundles are the best.
I've already got VVVVVV, so I feel like I've got the best game on that list already.
Last time they ended up throwing in the first bundle as well, maybe they'll go nuts and do it again this time.
I suppose they have to cut it off at some point, though.
Wasn't it like... donate more than average and you get hb1? Something along those lines... Maybe midway through they'll do something similar

I put off buying Crayon Physics for the longest time, but getting Cogs with it totally sealed the deal.
