mario 64 was a good game. so is mario galaxy. I think the american mario 2 had the best music though.
every 3d sonic has been shit though. My personal favorite is sonic 2.
Mario 64 was a good game. The 4 Super Mario games were great games. SMB2 is a great game, whether or not its' just a re-skin. And it shaped the rest of the series forever.
I always hated Sonic 2 because the water levels were simply unforgiving. They fixed a lot of this in Sonic 3 and that made it much more tolerable.
the water in sonic 2 was mostly avoidable
I hated sonic 3 because there was a real no-foolin' water level and it was right at the beginning
Only bad part of sonic 3 and knuckles is the carnival level
where there's a barrel thing you have to make it go down low enough to get out.
Apparently there was a real easy way to do this that I spent my entire childhood never understanding.
in my oblivion game i ws the king of running and jumping
everyone else was the king of killing me with big weapons
In Morrowind, I had the Boots of Blinding Speed, an artifact that increased light or whatever by 100%, and a levitation spell (or was it an enchanted piece of armor).
Anyway, I could basically fly around like superman at super speed.
Morrowind was hilarious to break. With potions you could have like 119,000 INT and shit.

YYYYYYYYYYESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
I NEVER COULD GET PAST THIS AS A KID.
I'm pretty sure my Sonic 3 cartridge has like, 6 saves on it ALL STUCK AT THAT SAME FUCKING POINT.

Yeah, you know you're getting those backwards?
the only "water levels" on sonic 2 are the chemical plant and ruins level
both don't actually have a lot of water (at least, if you go the right way)
the second area of sonic 3 is literally called hydrocity

Are you suggesting that Aquatic Ruins zone was a worse water zone than Hydrocity Zone?

Hydro city zone wasn't that bad.
The barrel in Carnival night zone? Fuck that noise.

By sheer accident my brother discovered the "press up and down" solution early on, so I was fortunately spared that agony.

Hydrocity is easy.
Chemical Plant is a pain in the ass
Granted, it has nothing on the Water Levels in Sonic 1, which were just completely brutal.

Apparently all you actually have to do is stand on the barrel and press down when it goes down and up when it goes up. Took me like 10 seconds after having googled that.

Chemical Plant has like a single really difficult water part. Technically if you go fast enough you can avoid it altogether.

I'm going to guess the answer involves sunshine. Maybe a little rain.

There were some Yoshi levels with a lot of water. I couldn't figure some of them out.

Thankfully we didn't let her out of the house.
But I just know that if she remembers anything she's going to be embarrassed out of her mind and might not speak to me for days.
There is always a price for being badass.

No, sonic 2 had water but it was all avoidable.
IT DIDN'T PAY THE FARE
I think I got all the shines in that.

But I think most kids growing up did not :P.

I got very, very good at avoiding that part- thusly chemical plant zone is one of my favourite zones.
Go buy them on Steam.
Get the fuck out.
No seriously
I actually bought Sonic Generations purely because it has callbacks to the old games so that could be sweet.
But mostly because Sonic 3 and Knuckles AND Sonic 3D were included.
You too, get the fuck out.
The games are EXACTLY the same on the PC.
There's even possibility to get 2-player going.
So Walking Dead also follows the format of "WE HAS A PLAN THAT WILL WORK!"
starts out perfectly then always goes wrong. without fail.
What?!
It wasn't as good as the other sonic sega games or Sonic Pinaball (which was great btw)
it was still a solid sonic game with some rather annoying controls
Listen, Daxon. Stop now. Just stop. I know what you're trying to do. Knock it off.
How much do the games cost on Steam? My new laptop is on the way so I can finally put steam on my new baby.
I have to name it...
