a christmas carol might be the only dickens story i like
it resides in the same area as The Goonies in my mind. There's an abundance of really, really, really annoying yelling/faux commotion, and most of the humor just falls flat for me. So I get annoyed at the terrible kid stuff and then not much else is funny to me.
It isn't as big of an offender as The Goonies, but it uses the same stuff. God, I hate that movie thought.

The Goonies is an alright movie, better than a Christmas Story at least. But I can't help but agree with both Langley and Antimatter. It's just simply not a good movie. It has some great memorable lines, and the rest of the movie is a complete drag.
