Also let's be honest, Shiro could have technically gotten help anytime. He was just too dumb to realize "Oh shit, maybe I should take this mask off". Whereas I doubt the boy could decide to stop being a tree.
Creepiest 'found footage' movie is Alien Abduction: The McPherson Tape. When it was originally aired, it apparently caused a War Of The Worlds style panic. I haven't seen it in years but 12 year old DRX assures you it is top tier material.
I remember this. It aired on like UPN or something, my family freaked out watching this
One particularly depressing thing about the whole sidequest with Anju and Kafei, that I never knew about for the longest time, comes into play if you fail to talk to Anju about Kafei on the first day.
Normally, if you talk to her about it she gives you a letter to deliver to him, and you give her back his response.
But since you didn't bother to talk to her and give her some tiny glimmer of hope... instead, she just takes her umbrella, goes outside during the rain, sits right outside Kafei's house, unaware he is less than a hundred feet from her, and cries all afternoon.
and yeah I think all the "good" timelines merge at the end
pfft
copout excuse
as far as I'm aware, once you have all the masks and items and stuff that carry over between resettings, it is possible to do all the nice and good things for all the people in one set of three time-slowed days
like save the zora eggs, heal the mummy dad, reunite anju and kafei, etc.
and if you ain't do that, there ain't no timelines merging at the end, the timeline in which you stop the moon is the one that continues and if that isn't the best of all possible worlds that's your fault hero
What I find interesting is that, even if time constraints weren't an issue, it is literally not possible to do some things in the same timeline.
The thief, sakon, is the guy who leads Kafei to the hideout in Ikana Canyon, which is the final thing you have to do for his sidequest before he meets up with Anju. However, this only happens when Sakon stops by the pawn shop to sell the bomb bag he stole from the old woman on the first night.
So, if you help the old woman out that night by stopping the robbery, Sakon doesn't stop by the pawn shop and Kafei doesn't spot him and follow him to his hideout.

I think in the last video someone asked about that and he said he edits out the death scene because it doesnt show anything besides saying game over.
Steam
Either way he was beyond being saved.
Unlike Shiro.
Who wouldn't even have been in the position to need your help if he hadn't been too stupid to take off his invisibility mask.
Also I'm getting tired of arguing about this.

just because they're not aware of it doesn't mean it's not horrifying
how do you know you haven't been reliving the same three days over and over and over and over again
It's an eternity in there
the guy is aware that he is in agony
as far as objective reality is concerned that awareness will never end
Except they're not reliving it.
The world is not resetting.
Link just keeps going backward to the same starting point, so he can try to make things go just right.
for instance, let's say that you save malon in one playthrough
fight off the aliens, hooray, all's well
then in the next playthrough you don't do it
go there on day three and she'll be scared lobotomized girl as if you'd never done anything
but up until that point? no way

Because the N64 would explode gloriously.

impossible!!
Heisenberg uncertainty principle
Not impossible, just very annoying and something you'd need to plan beforehand.
man, MM is hardcore
possibly the greatest zelda boss ever
(excepting end boss of wind waker of course)
Also ever try fighting the Twin Worms without the Giant Mask? Not fun.

I kind of hated the horseback phase, however.
But the final phase had a proper swordfight, and it was awesome.
It had pretty rad boss music, too.

god was Wind Waker's Ganon fight cool
i feel kinda dense for not quite getting the twist at the end?
Aw
oh no i got that, i just didn't know if there was any other underlying meaning that i missed
well, the vast majority of the bomber notebook
you can only give kafei's letter to the postman or to madame aroma
I know because I've done it
If you throw the zora eggs in there, then you might not have enough time
if you had the stone mask and were really good with the swimming controls though then I could conceivably see you pulling it off
