yeah, that's a fairly apt definition. Cashed-up bogan is the term usually used for people that work in mining and construction who would otherwise be bogans.
I mean, I tick many of those boxes but I also like several brown people and the gays, so it may not be applicable
Now, just to be fair, there are a few cons about this spot:
- It is a bit spread out, so cars are pretty much a must-have.
- You will almost definitely need a lift down from Perth to get here, but luckily, there's an army of forumers living in Perth that may be perfectly willing (i.e., bribed with beer) to take you down on their way down.
- It's the surfing capital of WA, so some of the surf at the beaches can be a bit rough, though Gnarabup is pretty calm.
- Unlike Byron Bay last year, the town isn't quite as lively or vibrant and there isn't a touristy, amusement park-packed city (like the Gold Coast) within an hour's drive.
- From September to April is mid to high season so stuff can get a bit pricey in the area, but there are LOTS of options available that I'm sure will suit all price ranges, especially if the trip is scheduled in February.
Kangaroos are arseholes by the way.
I put forward the vote that if we're going to have to take one in a fair fight TLB and get to box with it together consider a large male's height advantage.

So it's not really enough to call a 'possibility' yet but I'm just here to say that I'm looking at the prices and scheduling for a trip to some weird continent nobody's ever heard of where everyone talks like Paul Hogan.

My mate's band is playing at the Espy this Saturday. The gig starts at 8:30 and I'll be there sloppy drunk.
It is in the downstairs bar out front and they're one of four bands. I don't really know what kind of gig it is but if you want to come and get your drink on you'd be more than welcome!

By best I mean the most horrible thing I've heard in quite some time, of course.

Sometimes they're just people having a good time with not much other than a ute and some beer. Other times they are scumbags.

THIS IS WHY WE SHOULD GO TO MARGARET RIVER
Beaches in the area include:
- Hamelin Bay Beach
- Boranup Beach
- Gnarabup Beach
- Rivermouth Beach
It is also WA's premier wine region, with a ludicrous number of wineries from small:
- Brown Hill Estate
- Bettenay Wines
to ludicrously fancy:
- Saracen Estates
- Leeuwin Estates
There are also microbreweries:
- Bush Shack Brewery
- Boot Leg Brewery
- Cheeky Monkey Brewery
and caves:
- Lake Cave
- Jewel Cave
- Mammoth Cave
and rock climbing, and hiking, and of course, a potential site for a classic AusPAX photo:
On top of all this, there's heaps of swank but affordable accommodation close to pretty much all the right beaches in all the right places:
- The Quarterdeck
- MR Beach House
- A La Plage
- Twin Vistas
- Crow's Nest

I honestly can't remember the prices for last year, but those look incredibly reasonable for what looks like a very nice place.
depending on who you talk to, February is either low season or mid season
January is always peak season
just a thought!
Our BBQ has more cricket. We win.
