    "Leave them!" The boom of his shout turns to the crack of lightning as a fresh fork strikes out toward the melee. Though Voldothin's strength is blunted by doubt the bell-adorned gremlins are fried instantly.

    The dragon's wingbuffet catches Alénthian by surprise, and as the winged Eladrin falls, he flashes away from the blow through the Feywild, reappearing on the ground some distance away. He pushes himself to his feet and sets his jaw grimly, before levelling his spear at the fleeing dragon, and leaping into the air.

    The Avenger homes in on his prey like a bolt of lightning, and his spear shines with a furious, radiant light as he slams into Voldothin.

    The impact causes an explosion of sound and blinding sparks, and the result is a dragon falling slowly towards the ground, dazed and dizzy from the searing light and the echo of a God's wrath.

    --> Alénthian teleports to J8 after being hit

    Move Action: Get up.

    The king of the mountain rights himself and shakes his head clear of divine enchantment. "Your gods hold no power here."

    Blunting the gravity of the dragon's words somewhat, the remaining gremlin continues to jingle and dance about. The cruel sound causes Amon'Kul to roll around in pain and a crueller kick gives him more cause to roll.

    Amon'kul stands and shakes his head to try and stop the ringing in his ears. This dragon was not to be taken lightly, then again, neither was he. As he stands, he seem to grow larger, his infernal heritage becomes more evident and the fire of the Nine Hells rolls across his form. As he tries to assess the battlefield, he swats at the gremlin, but misses.

    Kothargix, finally clearing his head sees the blue dragon alight not far from his position. Taking careful aim, Kothargix conjurs up a ghostly set of jaws which chomp down on the dragon's hide with a peal of thunder that shakes the heavens. Fresh blood flows from the wound and Voldothin's howl invigorates our mighty little Kobold as repositions himself on the battlefield.


    Actions:
    Standard: Thunder Wyrms Jaw's vs. Ref = HIT!!! For 36 damage and Koth gains 8 THP (I forgot to calculate the +1 to hit with Thunder powers. Thanks @dresdenphile, it came very much in handy this turn!)

    Evanche stands up slowly, wiping away blood and trying to end the accursed pounding in her ears as a result of the raucous thunder crashing down the mountain that happens to call itself a dragon. She doesn't even spare a glance to the pittance of a gremlin that stands beside her, her concentration instead focused solely upon the beast that had the audacity to challenge her God. "Fight the endless march of destiny, vermin, but your crimes have already been recorded, your virtues found wanting, and your sentence written: a painful, agonizing torment. Behold your doom in all its glory!" She then thrusts her staff into the mountainside, thunderous flashes of crackling energy radiating out and washing off both gremlin and dragon. While both creatures are able to close their minds to the brunt of the psychic assault, the images of the foretelling of their doom are so crystal clear and harrowing that they cannot help but be stunned for the next few moments.

    Zedath stands up and bids Mazdrah to accost the dragon once more. Waving his totem in a familar pattern, both Evanche and Amon'Kul feel some of their wounds heal.

    The shaman raises his totem aloft, points it at the dragon, and shouts, "Foul creature! You will have nothing of ours except our wrath and hatred! Feel the full force of nature's acrimony and kneel before its majesty!" Zedath slams his totem into the ground with a loud crack.

    At first, nothing happens. The dragon smiles and opens its mouth to cackle, when an enormous redwood bursts forth from the ground. Once the plant reaches its full, immense height, all can tell that it is no mere tree, but rather, a mighty forest spirit. Aided by Mazdrah, the treant spirit smashes branch after branch into Voldothin's snout. The dragon staggers, battered and bruised by the sudden assault. Its defenses down, Zedath gestures for his fellows not to let up on the assault.

    Shaken at the looming presence of the dragon, Kothargix goes awry one of his more powerful spells. Even with Voldothin at a disadvantage and even empowered by Zedath's earlier magics, Kothargix has been less than effective. The thunderous force of the blow still impacts the blue, but not as hard as it should have. Still, it was not a complete loss, Kothargix feels his scales harden as an aftereffect as he dances away from the dragon's reach.

    Standard Action: Adamantine Echo vs. Fort. = MISS!! but Voldothin still takes 5 ongoing Thunder damage and Kothargix gains +3 AC until the end of the encounter.
    Move Action: Move to N11 and into cover, Thornwalker Slippers let me move through difficult terrain with no problem.

    Managing to dodge the latest barrage of lightning accompanying the lizard's previous thunder, Evanche whispers a few prayers to her God. Quickly, the lightning that just flew by returns, but this time manifests as a glowing glyph in the air in front of Voldothin. When it finishes forming, it bursts into a corona of bright light, blinding the dragon and searing the image of his impending death directly into his skull.

    Alénthian groggily pokes his spear in the dragon's general direction, his flightpath erratic and drunken. After such a pitiful display of prowess, he shakes off the effects of being thunderstruck, and frowns at Voldothin, firmly.

    "Zedath. You'll be a fine prize- Nihilox won't dare deny my claim when I present him your head." The rumbling baritone is punctuated by the crunch of Zedath's armour as a swipe connects.

    Kothargix, from his well concealed position in the bush sees his opportunity. Drawing as much breath into his lungs as possible, he activates his innate awesomeness as a kobold of suprising quality and exhales a massive gout of lightning upon Voldothin!

    The arcs of electricity suffuse the dragon's entire form and penetrating its own innate defenses, much to Voldothin's suprise. Pain and rage wrack its body as it thrashes. The insult, the shame, that someone could hurt it so with its own natural element must sting more than any hundreds of swords.

    Kothargix laughs.

    The tieflings words seem to trigger something in the dragon, whose eyes suddenly flash with a mad spark. "My fate? My fate is to rule! IT IS IN MY VERY BLOOD!" There is a thunderous peal and it's scales split and tear and across it's body. Instead of blood arcs of pure electricity pour forth, flying and spitting between the slayers before Voldothin.

    Secure in his perch amongst the thick flora at the edge of the slope, Kothargix remains at the edge of the crackling zone of lightning around Voldothin. He can taste the ozone in the air though, a familiar and comforting sense in an odd way. He breathes the ozone deep into his lungs and channels it into a blast of lighting of his own. One that zigs and zags in such a way as to avoid anything in its path. And quicker than a blink of eye, ending its arc by impacting the dragons chest and boiling its heart like it was cooking in a microwave.

    Kothargix immediately hardens his scales against Voldothin's onslaught. Amazingly, the little kobold weathers both the lightning storm around the dragon, and the mauling with suprising fortitude.

    Laughing in the dragons face, Kothargix slips out from cover, under the sinuous neck and around its flank. He then twirls his implement in the air over his head, some of the scattered lightning mimics its path and arcs through the dragons body. Again, penetrating its natural resistance to the element and shaking it to its very core.

    "Fly away, O King of the Dung Heap, and keep your pretty fangs in your maw. Stay, and I will have your heart in my gullet this night."

    Evanche reflexively ducks from the lightning that is crackling around the dragon's dying form. Trying to at least contain it from doing too much more damage, she raises her hand up and focuses on the new ring she had pulled from the previous corpse. The ring flares and almost immediately large, ephemeral metal bindings clamp shut over over the dragon's legs and wings, restraining it in place. "Now that it can't move, maybe this thing will finally die." She then takes one step back to prevent this static electricity from ruining her otherwise fine day.
    Standard Action - Ring of Borrowed Spells (Hold Monster): Voldothin is Restrained until the end of my next turn.

    "What sorcery is this?" The elder dragon seems more disturbed by having to remain so near to Mazdrah's unsettling visage, rather than any fear of reprisal from the slayers. The sorcerer is able to take advantage of this arrogance as the dragon spits a few sparks.
