US blogger Eric D Snider posted negative review on aggregator site despite never having seen Christopher Nolan's new film
...
Snider had initially posted: "The Dark Knight Rises is easily the most disappointing Batman film so far – and I'm including [Joel] Schumacher's Batman and Robin in that statement. Nolan has finally lost his touch."
When readers clicked the link to view the full review, they were informed: "Just kidding! I haven't seen The Dark Knight Rises yet. It's probably very good! I just wanted to post a negative quote on Rotten Tomatoes and see how many idiots would type angry words at me without actually clicking the link to read the review. 'You ruined this movie's RT score!' is a dumb complaint that is only made by dumb people."
So I just discovered there's an advanced screening of this at a "legit" IMAX tomorrow that I could have gone to if not for me just starting school this week. Shit.
I'M NOT FINISHED WITH YOU!!!

Guess I'm going to be the one who has to say that he dislikes troll reviews.
I usually go to the negative reviews as much as the positive ones to see if I may be interested in a movie. A good negative review will tell me more than most of the ones that are just praising the movie. When it's just some dude trying to get hits on his website or piss people off it makes the whole system less useful.
Last night I went to New York for The Dark Knight Rises premiere. I really enjoyed it. I think I preferred The Dark Knight movie, because it had Heath Ledger's Joker and a plot I found hard to predict. Dark Knight Rises doesn't have those things: once the set-up is done you have a pretty good idea of what's going to happen and when (even if you've worked hard to keep yourself spoiler free, as I had), but how it happens is the delight. I preferred the last movie, but this is a better Batman movie, and, I suspect, a better film. (It's my third-favourite film of the year so far: Moonrise Kingdom and The Cabin in the Woods are ahead of it.)

It doesn't help that very few fans have even seen the film yet.
There's no guarantee that it's going to be a perfect movie, or even a great movie.
So far the two biggest negative criticisms seem to be that it's unnecessarily long and not as good as the previous film, two things I was more than ready to expect back from when we first heard this movie was going to happen. So I'm still pretty pumped.

An androgynous waif if there ever was one
this is awesome
i like this guy
What spring does with the cherry trees.
i dunno why
he's not saying it's wrong to like the movie
he's making fun of the people who get super-bent about RT ratings
remember the shitstorm when armond white gave Toy Story 3 a bad review, dooming the trilogy's perfect rating? that's what he's making fun of

Steam
Today it's RT ratings.
That pisses me off.

because they are often hilarious
yeah he's doing that
and also courting a bunch of views by throwing up a negative review
Oh man I haven't done this in a while but it's always a hoot
to be fair, christianitytoday.com actually does have good movie reviews that don't fixate on whether a movie is based on scripture or not
there are literally millions of people out there who think he's right

This pleases me.
I see the movie playing out exactly like Knightfall, and Azrael and Robin will be surprise characters. Typical Nolan you know.
so be aware!

BB Gotham is always dark, always pouring rain, and smog filled.
TDK Gotham is a normal big city.
Destroying the public transit system in the first film ironically improved the surrounding environment. Now let's all go out and buy Hummer H3s.
Uh-oh I accidentally deleted my signature. Uh-oh!!
Love those eyes.
Also, the entire trilogy could use more Cillian Murphy.
