What we would do is give money to family on both sides (pay off my parents mortgage, give my sister/her brothers/her mother some) then disappear for a while to ensure we didn't get hounded by folks. Buy a house, a nice car or two and just try and live fairly comfortably. Mind you, I'd still work because I can't just sit at home. Most likely I'd invest if possible in the place I work at now because I'm really happy here.
