I think I need to get a tablet, all this scanning and altering just results in my pictures losing quality, it's no good I tell ya.

Buuut I have no money and I have no idea what sort of tablets are good.

I can probably justify the cost of the cheapest Bamboo one, but it looks like they're more designed around general touchscreen stuff than arting?

No? A bamboo is a perfectly good drawing tablet. I use one when I travel.

I have a Graphire which is pretty much the older version of the bamboo (I think) and it works fair enough for arting purposes.

Gotta schedule a bit of time to transition from drawing on paper to drawing with a tablet though. It can take some getting used to.

Oh, I guess I was misinformed then, cool, I'll see what I can do towards getting one of those.
And yeah I'd imagine some practice will be required, I've been messing with the 3DS touchscreen drawing programs, not ideal seen as there's no pressure sensitivity or anything, but better than nothing.
