the difference between tipping in the US and tipping here is astounding

in the US you tip your bartender

that is crazy! No-one ever tips the bartender here!

minimum wage, probably. Well, that or maybe slightly more, depending on certain circumstances, but in all liklihood minimum wage

adult min wage is about £6.something-or-other. If you work full time on minimum wage you can live without support, barely.

Incidentally you don't get minimum wage as a waiter. You get less than minimum wage and then tips. If the tips don't bring you up to min wage, the employer pays the rest

which is why tipping is so terrible, to be honest. Employers should fucking well pay their Employees properly.

Awesome news about your cat Anti. That kitty is a tank.

I always overtip since I'm shitty at the math and I'd rather round up. Unless the service was bad, then I will break out the calculators and tip accordingly.

I don't have the energy for tip arguments. NO TIP ARGUMENTS.

I've been feeling pretty okay the last few days. It's stupid but I think the Plug.DJ room helps lift my mood at night, instead of me staring off into the void until it's time to go to sleep. Gonna get out of the house today.

    £6.19!!

I get paid just more than it, and I get by fine, I don't live extravagantly but I'm comfortable. I am rather careful with money though! Minimum wage is an ace thing.

It depends. I think it comes to about £950 a month which you can definitely live on, but if a bad situation comes up you don't have much security and depending on where you live it can be easier to harder to get by. If you are careful though that goes a long way to alleviate a lot of the problems, you just have to take care.

Minimum wage in indeed ace, and I don't think it is really too low right now. If you work full time, then at minimum you can keep yourself going, especially if you are young without dependents. I do have a problem with waiters being paid less than minimum wage with tips making up the difference, but that is a different thing.

minimum wage here in wyoming is the absolute federal minimum too, like $7.25 or something

    Or it makes you poop?

Now I'm going to have to wait to go to group therapy on Thursday.

That sucks I hate the idea of group therapy.
