I'm really excited for divekick because it looks like the perfect fighting game for me

because I completely get the spacing and mind games aspect of fighting games but I am absolute shit at doing the correct inputs

I guess the thing with me is while I find fighting games super hard and often frustrating to play, I at least get to do cool stuff in them.

Like I am maining Catwoman in Injustice and even though I suck I am flipping around, smacking things with my whip, slashing dudes faces, executing hurracanranas and spinkicks and other fancy shit. I like the flash of fighting games.

Reducing the "look" of the fight to just the same downward kick animation over and over and over again just makes me completely uninterested.
