    can you actually slay dragons?

    also who's he married to

If you fight an army led by someone with the "dragon rider" trait you get an event giving the option to either flee from the dragon or try to slay it (or if there's a Kingsguard member leading one of the flanks, have him try to fight it for you)

choosing the option to fight has a high chance of being maimed, wounded or killed but there's also a chance of killing it (which I think is modified by the character's martial ability and traits)

he's married to Alerie Tyrell, Margaery's niece (although King Tommen the Great also banged Margaery a few times, including on his own wedding day)

i like that this game keeps tracks of who bangs who when and where

    Just finished ASOS

holy shit so much stuff happens after the red wedding

its no wonder they had to split it into two

only real question i have is
how are they make arya and hound last 10 eps? The book ends with her on a ship to braavos, but 10 episodes seems like alot for the 3 odd encounters they have together, + tickler and polivar fight which kills doggy

also red viper new favorite character, that fight and his dialogue is too good

    For season 4

    Late book 3 spoilers:
I could see them giving Tywin a more dignified death. His book death was great but not even HBO can show a scene that graphic.

Although I'm sure some will be sad we won't get Charles Dance full frontal nudity.

I hope there's a deleted scene or directors cut where
Tyrion delivers the "did not shit gold" line and puts on a pair of sunglasses and CSI Miami intro.

    HOLY FUCK THAT EPILOGUE CHAPTER.

I'm sad to hear AFOC isn't on the same level as the other books because I'm so excited to see how everything develops from ASOS.

It's just a different kind of book.

Storm of Swords is essentially 1000 pages of climax, Feast and a lot of Dance spend a lot of time exploring the aftermath and starting to reset the dominos so shit can go crazy again.

Yeah, if you think of ASOS as 1000 pages of climax, think of AFFC as the cool-down and then bits of foreplay for the next round.

Before I go to bed I'll read the prologue to AFOC, then tomorrow I'll start The Lies of Locke Lamora and have that finished before I go back to work on the 13th. I'll get back to AFOC during work.

There's also still quite a bit that they can pull from earlier sequences in book 3. She really should have plenty to do.
The hound and her at a village and her getting super pissed at the "little girl" who's only like a year younger than her, plus the tavern fight and then her leaving the hound, possibly some other kill of hers if they want to get her body count up a little more.

Making the last episode Mance's big attack is kind of weird, there is a good deal of stuff that happens on the wall after the attack.

Maybe they'll change things around so Jon is already Lord Commander by that time? Maybe the entire episode will take place on the wall?

I always thought the Iron Throne in the show was too...symmetrical. It's literally a pile of swords forged by dragonfire. It even has a freaking fan pattern on the back. It's not like Aegon held the swords in place and was like, "OK Balerion, now I want you to shoot this fire at a 45-degree angle but I don't want the sword completely melted - I just need the hilt to meld with this part here, see?"

That throne would make it a lot harder for the Small Council to discreetly advise the king during court

It's like two full stories tall
