    I think we're gonna see a repeat of NotoriousBEN forcing a side-switch from the opponent if you do that, yeah.

    As I understand it, it would NOT trigger the Leaping bit, because you are the one switching sides with him. He actually has to move and switch sides with you to trigger it. Sort of like how Joal can Ironstar and switch sides with a opponent via his movement effects, but opponents can't switch sides with *him* while it's up.

    Yes, but if Vyolynce is adjacent to him, he's got a mandatory advance 1-3 before activating that'll provide the switch. Like that Drive last game did.

    Except the other side of me is the wall? If I'm not going to trigger his "switch side" thing (and I agree that I wouldn't by myself, "you" vs "opponent") then there's no reason to bother.
    If a legal movement cannot be made, then the movement is ignored entirely. (ex: “Advance 3 spaces” when there are only two spaces left on the board).

    I might as well just let him drill me for the full damage and stun. <shrug>

    I knew I was fucked as soon as I saw the stupid Core Shielding before Beat 1 even happened. Byron doesn't seem to do well vs. another ranged fighter (or in this case a solid mix of range and charging attacks that are like being at range) with superior priority who can turn off all of his To Hit and On Damage tricks.

    That said? I badly misplayed the first beat due to misunderstanding/misreading Leaping's switch clause; had I started with a Burst I would have avoided being hit and probably hit him back. Although since he used Strike I wouldn't have stunned him to get rid of his Shielding so I was probably still boned.

    Meh, bad match-ups happen. GG, Bedlam.

    EDIT: Also, Byron seems to be a major glass cannon. If he so much as gets touched he just shatters.

    Yeah Byrons regeneration really dosent matter since losing masks already works against you. He has some sick moves if he gets the right conditions though, (bypassing soak forceing life loss and then stealing the soak is sick, would love to see that mess with someone like cadenza)

    Also souless could be the best move but the end of beat lose a mask anyway is really confusing. It seems like he should have a better block than that.

    Was considering going for the life loss reveal last beat, since it was the only "trick" left to me, but that would have basically left me unable to have a stab at my finisher.

    Off the top of my head, Byron's alternate UA is reversed, sorta like Adjenna's. He has five Mask tokens for each enemy, and every time he does something to them(stun?) he gives them one. If they ever get five, their life is set to 1.

    The one move where he loses a mask is reversed and he takes back a token instead.

    Really curious about the final price of Devestation. Its $75 on Lvl 99's website but I see other sites are taking pre-orders for around $50. Lvl 99 says you get promo charecters if you order directly from them though. So Im wondering are they really worth 25 more? Or are online prices not final yet since the game still isnt released?
