According to the info I had, we managed to have a zero deadbeat Secret Santa. We even wrapped things up around February!

Hypatia has the official numbers though.

Welp I'm in! Participated in the steam summer giftathon/war for first time and it was a blast. This looks like it could be just as fun! Now if only I could get lucky enough to be @Big Dookie not so secret santa :winky:

I rolled mine out last year and never rolled it back in. It was just always there.

It's always a holiday in my heart.

I should probably roll it back in after the holidays though.

I tried to put Santa hats on my dogs so I could make a holiday avatar. I didn't think that two dogs eating Santa hats was appropriate for the thread so I never made the avatar. Maybe I'll try again this year.

NOOOOOOOO gift walls older than 2011 are now defunct...I think those threads are now digital dust and can no longer be enjoyed by the holiday masses.
It looks like you can still check out the pictures by hitting the flickr links Hypatia put on each wall, but the forum links on the right are all dead and gone.

Yeah, the switch to vanilla broke all the old links. There was a workaround we found last year I thought. I'll try to find it.

Having been on the not so much fun side of this process, I have so much love for you. Being able to give a wonderful couple a chance at a family they thought they'd never have was the most amazing thing and the only thing to combat the crippling heartbreak of it all. I hope you have the best experience on the other side of this and have the chance to start or build more of a wonderful family.

I thought it would be a really weird thing to do the first time I did, and that no-one would want to have me as their Santa/santee, but I've been so blessed by people in G&T.

It's one of the highlights of my year - I think last year I wanted to know who my santee was in September so I could start stalking them!

It's usually possible, provided it's sealed well enough. I've certainly gotten my share of obscure UK candy. (Smarties? Smarties are horrible chalky things; everyone knows that)
