I should really figure out how to make this thing a thing I'm willing to release to the public because sometimes it shits gold.
Sorry Pwnan I did't do any of your prompts now because it's too hardcore for me but it did inspire me to think about pushing myself to attempt an actual illustration this year
I only have bad thumbnails(?) to show for it now though, I have a very vague direction
Edit:
Did one for today
Edit: Somehow cranked out one more for the night

Dang it I am stuck
Hey. Anyone in here do digital drawing that can tell me if there is some setting or tweak I can make to make it easier and feel better to draw with my huion tablet thing? It's so sensitive and low friction. And my hand just isn't that steady especially when I'm not looking down at it like when I'm using paper. I also tend to go heavy handed on paper anyway to compensate for my almost tromor like little hand sway.
On my tablet I can't even consistently draw a square or triangle.
What software are you using? Most programs have some sort of smoothing feature that can keep your lines from being too wobbly. When I first started drawing digitally, I used Lazy Nezumi to smooth my lines and to adjust the sensitivity of the tablet. I think Lazy Nezumi has a free trial if you want to give it a try. I don't use it anymore but it helped me a lot in the beginning.
Some people also tape paper to their tablet as well, though it might wear out the pen nib a little faster
The stabilizer feature from clip paint studio is pretty good
I am still struggling with lines myself since forever but generally people like to draw from the elbow/shoulders for more expressive and broad strokes, and to prevent too much strain on their wrist. I think folks use their wrist when they want to draw close up details or something which requires precision
Playing around with it I seem to have better luck with the weighted setting, but also I think I tend to use my wrist to much as when I try to draw a horizontal line across the screen it always drops as I move right. I seem to be doing a bit better if I focus on using my whole arm, though that's activating some muscles I'm not used to using and making my arm pretty tired pretty fast.
I’m rewatching the Pokémon Art Academy series on Game Grumps (or it’s on in the background anyway) and it made me want to draw a Pikachu.
It’s my usual style of having a character floating in a void with no background.
The push for browsers and video players offering good picture in picture modes has done a lot to make wanting to doodle things and wanting to casually glance over at a Youtube video more comfortable.

Here's a Klaus background being painted. There are also other non-Klaus things on their channel that are good.

Maybe it's just a thing that I gotta get used to better but it's so frustrating it really puts me off of practicing.

Hey...! Hey, this is a ten! The tab’s thirteen!
I was thinking about this scene today for some reason.
I really should try to scribble out some kind of thing every day too. I think if I practiced just a little bit more diligently I could be pretty ok.
I just realized the lightning should be a light source but WHATEVER.

Colouring is where it is at.
Sometimes I'll just draw a junky junk and fix it up during painting time because digital art enables those sorts of horrible habits.
