I enjoyed the fight scenes in the Raid way more than the Raid 2.

For real I was weirded out by broken doors for a long time after seeing the Raid.

Is it supposed to be THE Sphinx or A Sphinx?

I don't know when the Sphinx was built in comparison to the Moses story

The Sphinx was built long before the Exodus would have happened if it had happened.

-Geth seems to know something about it but he's not telling us.

I know it's not the greatest action film of all time, but I just can't get past my love of Terminator 2 to suggest anything else.

I mean it might be the greatest, actually

Yeah, it's really tough to beat that argument

It's pretty much a perfect movie

    I like the Terminator better.

But I know I'm not going to sway anyone's opinion on that.

The Terminator is also really great. Linda Hamiltons acting limits are a little more obvious in that one, though.

I like Aliens as a super-awesome action movie, too.

Beverly Hills Cop is really good to you guys. I know it's really really 80s, but it hits all the right notes, to me.

Die Hard, Lethal Weapon, Hot Fuzz, Ronin, Tango and Cash, Dirty Harry...

How am I supposed to pick?

How am I supposed to pick?

I don't think Tango and Cash and Hot Fuzz fit on that list

They're amazing, but Tango and Cash is amazing because its.... sorta terrible in that special way, and Hot Fuzz is spoof, albeit one with a lot of real action movie chops

For me Die Hard will probably always be the best straight up action movie, but that is absolutely no slight against terminator at all

Bolo Yeung was so bad ass in Bloodsport.
I mean he's bad ass in pretty much everything, but Bloodsport deserves a special mention.

Elliot Kalan has said that Tango and Cash is the last movie made before irony was invented and thus it is totally honest in its goofy audacity

T2 is definitely my favourite action movie, and is in my top 3 movies overall. Second favourite action movie is probably Aliens even though I've only seen it once all the way through. It's just so so good.

Can I have my first and second favourite action movies both be Arnie movies. Dare I embrace the Arn so completely.

If we're talking about Lucy I'm kind of conflicted on how I feel.

On one hand, I feel that women do deserve to have more dumb action films.

But man...that movie was dumb and at times kinda racist.
