    Best case scenerio I think.

Spider-Man is one of the early recruits to Tony's side, Black Panther is the guy who's not picking a side, so part of hte movie is Tony and Cap trying to convince him while T'challa is going "WTF are you doing? Get off my lawn!" Once the tide of opinion starts to turn against Tony, Spider-Man switches sides. Finally T'challa is the one to go "Look you dimwits, there's a greater threat out there; stop fighting and work together." and we get a team-up at the movie but it ultimately ends with Iron Man leaving the Avengers and Cap forming a new team with guys like T'challa and Spider-Man.

    DC just stop

just stop making superman comics if you don't want to tell superman stories

stop trying to tear him down to show how "grown up" you are

just leave him alone and maybe come back in a few years when you actually grow up and understand superman

To be fair, the next writer of Superman is an Asian-American immigrant whose most famous work is a really good graphic novel combining fantastical mythic adventures with stories about discovering your self-identity as an immigrant in a foreign land and becoming the person you truly want to be

Okay, so I spent the entire day catching up with last thread and here are my opinions:

Spider-Man is my favorite superhero, and I am slightly worried. Even if all the language about Sony having creative control is just for show and they will always defer to Feige because he's proven he knows what's what, I can't shake the feeling that Sony will drop the ball with their own movies via weird story or casting choices

That said, I'm excited for a fresh start

Mr. G, Christopher Meloni as Norman is inspired and perfect. I also actually kind of like the Jon Glaser suggestion, but Meloni is the clear choice between the two

I love JK Simmons and I'd be happy for him to be JJJ. But if you want a clean break, I'd suggest maybe try someone new. Daran Norris was a great JJJ in SpecSpidey

Speaking of, get Greg Weisman involved in the script at the very least. He even just recently stopped working on a Disney project (Rebels)

also speaking of, even if they're doing movies, I still want a Spidey show-- either something in the vein of Agent Carter (low episode count, high budget) or Netflix (pretty much the same). Start with Peter, and if the actor is too busy with movies, it can quickly transition to Miles and/or Spider-Gwen. But there are too many amazing villains, supporting characters, and storylines worth exploring to cover in a movie series

I am bummed about the delayed films. And while I would bet money they'll cast Peter as white, I'm really hoping they don't. There's no reason he can't be black or Asian American or any other race. Plus no one will think the old movies apply, less potential confusion

Anyway, this is all very interesting, but I'm feeling conflicted and very curious about how this plays out

It sure is! I've been enjoying his linework well enough, loose as it is, but it's the colouring that he's really knocking out of the park. Everything is in fairly subdued. Often sepia or grey tones, so that when he tosses in some bright colours it really stands out.

I just love that they started the episode with Uptown Funk. Wish they'd kept it going longer. Still love that song.

EDIT: Also always nice to see Victor Garber getting work.

Wut. Is it going through her arm, or ... wut?

I was gonna say, having a bullet shooting at your face with a weird energy trail behind it doesn't look super-heroic.

So I've only had internet since we moved to this apartment, but today I decided to try plugging a coax cable into the tv just to see if we got local channels (like many apartments offer) and YEP.

Looks like I'm watching Agent Carter live tonight.

Si Spurrier says he's got a Secret Wars story that should be announced "very soon" that is radically different from his past few series (X-Force, X-Club, X-Men Legacy).

    DOCTOR STRANGE

    DOCTOR STRANGE

actually wait no I would love Si Spurrier on a 1602 series

    but also DOCTOR STRANGE
